Arctic Air Chillzone Evaporative Cooler

Assembled it just has the instructions said starting using it and it started burning and smoking within an 10 min period and was still full of water and then shut off and never worked again. Worst product I've ever bought! Then they wouldn't take it back either!!

To be honest the smaller one works better it had a flaw though when it sweats from the cold the place where the cord plugs in gets damp and shorts the whole unit so I brought it back to Walmart and exchanged it for this one to see if it works better it's ok no electricity problems but the smaller unit believe it or not worked the best it kept my room freezing only issues is the plug are but idk I give this one a two also the smaller one held less water and lasted the whole night this ones bigger and holds more but runs out of water in a couple hrs and is definitely not as cold as the smaller one I thought buying the bigger unit that's bigger and cost more would definitely be better but nope the smaller one was the strongest and coldest and lasted the whole night

This thing puts out COLD air. I didn't even use any ice as the instructions recommend. Within five minutes I was chilly and had to turn it off. There is an important caveat: This is a SWAMP COOLER. It won't work in high humidity. If your humidity is over 40% you are probably going to be disappointed. Otherwise, it works beautifully. It's not going to cool a whole room. But put it on a table nearby and you will be comfortable.

Warning! Arctic Air CHILL ZONE instructions say to replace the filter every 1-3 months. Arctic Air/Ontel no longer sell the replacement filter for this model. Checked Amazon and WALMART and they do not carry this model filter either. Same thing happened last year when I bought the Arctic Air Tower , instructions say to replace filter regularly but Arctic Air/Ontel no longer makes/sells that filter also. I called them directly and they said I might be able to "purchase a used filter on eBay" Are you SERIOUS!

I bought one of these several years ago same price so I figured it was going to be the same unit but some updated aesthetics right? No! The same price but the unit is literally half the size so instead of filling it two three four hours now you're filling it every hour plus the slot is barely big enough for ice cubes the little water filter thing stays Frozen for about 5 seconds and it leaks if you don't fill it just right. I literally got half of what I thought I was paying for and I ordered two of these things smh. Feel like I should get half of my money back. Oh and the air blows out UP or UP more but not directly.

I only ordered this online because it said it would get here today and I needed it because my air condition is out and I am sick. The picture showed that it was delivered to the wrong address I asked if the delivery driver could go back and get it since it had just been delivered. I was just given a refund and told I would have to re-order it and it will take 10 days to get my refund. It was also suggested that I go walk around the neighborhood and try to find it. The person that I chatted to also told me I should keep a closer eye on my emails when I responded at the exact time that the text was sent to me that it had just arrived. My mailbox is clearly marked with my number on it.

the item I received was already opened. The chiller was not in the plastic bag and the box had been taped shut. Looks like it was already used and returned.

I do not like that one was new and one was already opened and looked like used. When I order I expect NEW not previously opened product and or USED. Thank the Lord they both work so far

I just received the Arctic Air Chill Zone that I ordered on 6 June. I do not want it. I have contacted the Chill Zone people since it says Do Not Return to Store to see what I need to do to return in and get a refund. Where is my receipt so I can print it off and use it when needed? Thank you

When your AC goes out or you are doing something hot like cooking and finishing a report for work this is great. One fill last 2.5hrs on high and 8 hrs on low. It is light and energy efficient. It is a good idea to have one on hand just in case. My home has no windows that I can open but this little machine saved the day (my mom is 103 years old and just could not handle the heat when our AC went out. Muhammad ,Joel and the store manager went out of their way to get this potentially life saving measure to us today in heat that is over 100 and feels like 109. Thank you so very much. You are all angels. May God bless you always.
