Arctic Air Chillzone Evaporative Cooler

This thing puts out COLD air. I didn't even use any ice as the instructions recommend. Within five minutes I was chilly and had to turn it off. There is an important caveat: This is a SWAMP COOLER. It won't work in high humidity. If your humidity is over 40% you are probably going to be disappointed. Otherwise, it works beautifully. It's not going to cool a whole room. But put it on a table nearby and you will be comfortable.

this little ac is perfect for a warm apartment on days where it gets too hot. it cools one room, and directly in front of it, incredibly well. when adding ice and water, it becomes a nice little humidifier as well. it isnt noisy at all, about what youd expect for a fan.

Our a/c went out in some very hot weather. If it is blowing directly on you while sitting It makes things bearable or if sleeping but you'll have to refreeze the grate at some time during the night. so I bought some small thin but not too thin ice packs. that fit perfectly in it and last much longer. So overall if I had to buy it again I would.

This is a fun little swamp cooler to mess around with. I did not buy this expecting much because I've seen many reviews of the various different models of the Artic Air Coolers and they are definitely not gonna cool you down unless your eather in a home with a dehumidifier to keep the water evaporation down or live on the west coast where theres little humidity. That being said it is a fun little fan to play around with for a little while and it does provide some cooling in specific circumstances. I bought mine just because I think they look kinda neat and i wanted to see one for myself in person to try it out. So overall if your looking for air conditioning i wouldn't recommend this unless your somewhere with very dry heat and evwn then its a mabye. Now if your like me and you just want something to experiment or tinker with amd don't expect much %10000 would recommend as its very fun to play with. So from a fun standpoint i give it 5 stars but from a usability standpoint a 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Worked great for about 10 days, does cool you down in a dry climate as long as you have it up close to you, but then the high setting on the water jets stopped working , cooling effect was very poor then, was using purified water, Walmart return was very easy

I thought it would be a little more like an evaporative cooler just compact but it is actually a fan with a humidifier that blows right under the fan. So definitely cute, but I am going to be honest probably could have gotten the same quality and item for less on TEMU

I brought this item with the intentions on using it in my car but you can't use it for mobile purposes only in the home %26 you have to freeze the filter and add ice cubes in order for the machine to cool ,you can't ride around with a cup of ice if the weather outside is 95 degrees hello somebody who thought this would be a good idea..... wrong..

Warning! Arctic Air CHILL ZONE instructions say to replace the filter every 1-3 months. Arctic Air/Ontel no longer sell the replacement filter for this model. Checked Amazon and WALMART and they do not carry this model filter either. Same thing happened last year when I bought the Arctic Air Tower , instructions say to replace filter regularly but Arctic Air/Ontel no longer makes/sells that filter also. I called them directly and they said I might be able to "purchase a used filter on eBay" Are you SERIOUS!

It didn’t cool at all and just made it more humid than it already is!
