Arctic King 5 cu ft Chest Freezer

I ordered on a wed and it arrived on a fri, thanks Walmart for free 2 day shipping. I read many reviews saying that alot of them came dented. Ours arrived in perfect condition. It is a great size for a family of 2-3 people or use in an overflow fashion !

It is now April 2020 and I purchased this 2 years ago (April 2018) and it is still going strong. It is packed full and I have it on the low setting and everything is frozen solid.. This was a great buy at a great price. It is thd perfect size for two people.. not too big but definitely NOT too small.. plenty of room without being too too big. Well built and reliable. If you are deciding which one to buy, I HIGHLY highly recommend this one.. it's been a life saver having the extra freezer space.

I'm very happy with my new freezer. The compact size is ideal for my busy kitchen. All I needed to do was plug it in and the temperature cooled quickly. Surprising how quiet it runs. Being a home baker I needed room to store frozen doughs and other supplies for my small business. I'm so pleased that there's more than enough space across to accommodate a sheet pan laying flat with room to spare. I would recommend this size freezer for a small family or someone like myself that needs that extra freezer storage.

Our freezer was delivered on time and we plugged it in and with 3 hours it was ready to freeze ice-cream. No problems so far. It's a perfect size for our family.

I unpacked this item carefully and set it up in my rec room. I let it stand for 2 hours after moving it, per the installation instructions, before plugging it in. When I plugged it in and turned it on, I heard the mechanism click on and then immediately off. So, I turned it off, waited 5 minutes, and tried again. Same thing. I repeated all of the above for a different outlet and got the same result. So, I now have a $180 piece of junk in my house. I called Arctic King and left a voicemail on their customer service line and have yet to receive a call back. FYI - their VERY LONG outgoing message is in French. At first, I though I dialed the wrong number. But I called back and waited and eventually, an English message does play. Guess it serves me right for picking an off brand.

Got this freezer and a week and a half later it don't want to work properly.
