I already have a window A/C in my room. Decided to put this one in my Daughter room. Easy to install and put it up in the window. Fits perfectly, easy to used and gives good air. She is going to have a good summer this year instead of being in a hot room like the other summers. It cool her whole room really good and keeps her room really fresh.

This Artic Queen air conditioner is one of the best units in it's size. I have this air conditioner installed in a attic room with no shade. This Artic Queen air conditioner keeps the room nice and cold and it was super easy to install. When y first turned it on I was amazed at how quite it was and how quickly it cooled. I have other a Air conditioners and this one is by far my favorite..

I live in Florida and my room in particular never gets as cool as the rest of the house. I use this during the peak time of day to help keep my room nice and cool. It doesn't have a digital dial but you just pick the fan strength and the cool setting.

I live in a approx, 2,000 sq ft home. Last summer the central air went out for a week during 105+ daytime heat. To put it mildly, I was miserable at night. At 1 AM, it was still 85 degrees in my bedroom... with the window open & a fan set on high blowing on me. All it was doing was evaporating the sweat on me. I felt like I was in a oven. I had been wanting a small window unit to put in the bedroom window so I wouldn't have to cool the entire house at night.. and wished I had one at the time. That's where this Arctic King 5,000 BTU window AC unit comes in. When I got my chance, I snatched it up and I am not a bit disappointed. It is a fantastic air cooler in a very small package. Its width is the length from my finger tips to my elbow.. and weighs under 40 pounds. It is extremely simple to install in your window. If you've ever installed a window unit before, you will find this unit child's play to install... the setup / installation time for this little unit is probably less than 20 minutes. If you can lift a medium sack of dog food.. you won't have any problem installing this unit by yourself. I wanted to test it out before mounting it into the window.. so I turned it on and placed a BBQ meat thermometer probe in the blower vent. The outside temperature was 70 degrees. The unit put out a amazing 39 degrees. A 30 degree difference. It doesn't blow hard enough to cool a large room.. but it will definitely cool a small bedroom fairly quickly. Its not a fancy feature filled air conditioner. Nothing digital.. all mechanical controls. Just a plain nice looking well built air cooler. But in my mind that means less electrical do-dads that can cause trouble down the road. There is a circuit breaker plug for safety. It comes with everything you need to install it in a window. I highly recommend this AC air unit.

I bought it for my bedroom but if its on high cool with maximum cool settings I can actually feel it out into the hallway and even in the dining room. But most of the time Ive been running it on low cool with lower cool speeds. My room stays cool or even cold when its on depending on settings. It also has a fan setting and it works great too for when you want air circulation only. I definitely can recommend this ac unit.

This window unit weights about 39 1/2 pounds . Very easy to install, just follow the instructions. As you can see it comes with everything that you need so no extra trips to the store for last minute things. It cools a 12X12 bedroom with ease. It will cover a 150 square foot room with ease. I like the fact that you can direct the air flow in 4 different directions so you do not have to have the air blowing directly at you, or at you if that is your desire. It seems that it is has a very accurate temp control. It comes with a washable filter so you do not have to run out and buy a new filter unless you want to. With being a 5,000 BTU unit and an Energy Star efficiency it doesn't require that much electricity to run this unit daily. So sit back and enjoy the cool breeze this summer

It's a small unit but it works well, pretty quiet, and weighs about 40 pounds. It comes with all the equipment to make it fit your window. It has a removable washable filter, about a 6 foot electric cord, high and low temperature controls and a fan setting. My husband put ours in the living room. I believe this unit is just the right size for a bedroom or home office. I received this product free from the Spark Reviewer program and I recommend it.

We've been using this Artic King 5000 BTU window unit in our bedroom for about a week now. It is a nice small unit but puts out a lot of air. It works very nicely for cooling our bedroom. It was easy to put in the window. I like that you can adjust the wind direction easily. I would recommend this product.

This is a great little unit. It took my husband about 15 minutes from box to inside the window. He is pretty handy and said it was pretty straightforward to install. On low speed and high speed he stated the sound level was pretty low for a window unit. It is a small unit, but the space that I put this one in is 500 square feet and it is perfect. My husband said it might go up to about 750 square feet but much over that it would be enough to take the warm edge off and be comfortable but probably not enough to get cold. The color is good, white blends in with my vinyl windows. It comes with a roll of the dark spongy strip to seal the sides and gaps which helps. I could see this in a small bedroom, a small office, dorm room or any small space. We finally hit some really warm days in Vegas and I was able to give it good try and I am very pleased with the efficiency of this unit. You can feel the difference in temperature in less than 10 minutes. The only thing I need to do, is where this unit is tends to have a lot of bees, so I will create a screen cover of some sort to keep the bees out of the large vents around the outside of the unit. Otherwise, so far I am loving this little unit.

Although it's really not hot enough for testing an A/C properly, I was able to install this tiny unit in a small guest bedroom and run it for awhile. My unit is actually the Arctic King Model WWK05CM01N, so don't know the differences in similar models. It came well packaged, although the top rail was damaged for some reason. No biggie; I was able to pry it open enough to use. Pay CLOSE ATTENTION to the dimension requirements. I have only a couple of windows in the entire house that were small enough to accommodate this unit without modifying the sides. I also put plastic inside and out to keep air/bugs from entering through the side pieces. Seems energy efficient. (Rating of average $44 a year applies to 8 hrs a day, for 3 months. Many people run their A/Cs more than that.) Pros: ..Lightweight. Probably just right for campers, etc. ..Clean design. Simple to use. Looks nice. ..Super long power cord. Nearly 6'. ..Easy to install and setup. ..Seems to blow cool fairly quickly. ..Easy clean filter. Slides out the side of the unit. (kind of hidden) Cons: ..Much too small/ineffective to use in an average space. Description says UP TO 150 sq ft. Mine is in a 99 sq ft room and it doesn't seem to cool it very well, and it's only April. ..No thermostat. This means it runs continuously, constantly trying to cool. A bit noisy, but that's typical. ..Side to side adjustment of the louvers ONLY. No up/down. An issue for me because my window is higher, making the unit at eye level. I think this contributes to the ineffectiveness of being able to cool my room. ..Does not seem to cool unless it is on MAX. The instructions even tell you to put it on MAX when you start it up. Seems like it might as well just have an ON/OFF button if that's the case. If you just want to blast some cool air in a hurry, this would be okay. Suggestions would be maybe by a desk in a small office, or a bathroom with a window. Probably a tiny bedroom, like in a camper or trailer. Anything larger, get a MUCH bigger unit. It would be a better investment.
