Arctic King 5.3CF Upright Freezer, White

Living in a small apartment, I've had limited space for stocking up on frozen foods. Even unable to have ice cream on hand if I have meats, etc. in my freezer compartment of the fridge. This little freezer fit into my space perfectly and is working wonderfully. I'm so grateful that I found it in Walmart.

I was first going to buy a chest freezer but they were all sold out. I thought about an upright but they were too expensive. My next thought was, do Ireally want to Dig down in a freezer. One day I was in Walmart and saw a lady leaving with an upright freezer. She said there is only 3 left. The next day I ordered it on line. I love the space, easy access, spacious shelves and the perfect size in my garage. I wish the cord were longer. I would have had more choices for placement. Did I mention the fabolous price $189. This Artic King upright freezer was a great buy and I recommend it.

A great basic stand up freezer. We purchased this one to fit inside a small utility room and it does a great job. Food is cold and we are happy with it so far.

Just received our freezer and freezer appears to be the size we was expecting. We were waiting for the delivery and no one came to door and when we looked out the truck was pulling out of the lane and appears he slid it out the back door as unit was laying on it s side and when unwrapping 3 corners are dented and instructions aren t clear as to if the foam glued inside by a sensor is to remain in the frig or to be removed??

The freezer works very well but the door magnet is too strong- need to make sure, it doesn't topple over while trying to open the door - use all the limbs!! My main complaint is that, it was delivered much later than the indicated date at the time of ordering but worth the wait!

Nice freezer. Very easy set up. The shelves are pretty small. The last one is much smaller than the rest. Other than that, pretty spacious. I'm still impressed with the product.

This is a great little freezer. It stays cool, the shelves are not adjustable but you can put a lot of food in and never have to dig to the bottom to find what you need. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because the shipping is terrible. We received the freezer with a large dent on the top corner. You'd think after all the negative reviews about this same issue, they'd package them appropriately for shipping. I didn't return because there were no more in stock. I'll have to live with the dent.

The price was great but the door is hard to open and the shelves frosted up within the first week. It is large so would be a hassle to return or I would have.

Seems like an ok small sized freezer. It's more convenient than a chest freezer where everything is piled on top of each other. Having said that, I DO have an annoying problem with it: The magnetic door seal gasket is SO STRONG that I have a great difficulty opening the door! You literally have to hold the frame back with one hand while trying to pull the door open with the other! And even then, it's very hard to open! I tried a little vaseline on the gasket and also tried silicone spray, in case it was just the gasket "sticking" to the metal, but they made no difference. It must be the magnet inside the gasket that's too strong! Artic King, please respond with a suggestion, or how to contact you about this problem. Thank you.

Huge dents in both top back corners, one on bottom corner and one on the side. Since I don't have a truck, I had it delivered. I have no way to return it to the store, which is the only option it gives! Junk just junk! Walmart should pay for return shipping!
