Arctic King 7.1 Cu ft Upright Convertible Freezer/Refrigerator, Stainless Steel

Waited awhile before giving a review to ensure it's accurate. Have had the freezer for a couple weeks now. Waited 24 hours to plug it in as we wanted to keep it upright for that amount of time prior to turning it on. I have it packed full and no issues with ice buildup or items not being frozen. It's small and gets the job done. Did arrive with a minor ding on the door but doesn't affect the functionality whatsoever. The door seal is TIGHT, ensure you are done in the freezer don't try to open it again after closing it right away - shouldn't do that with any fridge or freezer but never had a seal as good as this!

I just received the freezer, and the delivery personnel did not provide any prior notice, so there was no opportunity to inspect it properly. The freezer arrived with an extremely large dent on the upper rear section. The refrigerator may be operational; however, due to the severity of the damage it arrived with, the price should be adjusted. The listed price reflects a unit in perfect condition, which is not the case here. Additionally, in the Walmart app there is no link to file a damage claim for the product. It only states that you have 48 hours to submit a claim, but the only option available is to return the item.

Do not purchase. Arrived damaged. Walmart is unable to pickup (despite delivering it to my home) and is unable to process a refund. The only provided option was to return the freezer to the store. The freezer does not fit within my vehicle. Walmart told me to dispute the purchase with my financial institution. This is completely unacceptable.

Item was delivered damaged and will return so no feedback on if the freezer works well or not. It’s horrendous dealing with Walmart and Fed Ex on trying to get customer service on the phone. It’s only Ai and they are unwilling to get a representative on the phone to handle the return or discuss the damaged freezer. Walmart has lost a customer for life. I paid full price for a New Freezer but received a damaged and dented freezer instead and no help in resolving this issue.

Ordered the freezer for my 70 year old mother. It arrived with a dent in the door and Walmart offered for me to return it to the store even after I told them I live in a different city and my mom can't get it to Walmart. The return policy only allowed 2 days from the date of delivery to return it, there is no way I could've got it moved by then. I even asked for a discount since it was damaged but they wouldn't agree to that either. The dent isn't very large but when I pay for a new item I would like for it not to be damaged.

Do not buy this product. My experience with Walmart customer service has been extremely frustrating and dishonest. An agent originally promised partial refund and even provided a reference number, which is why we decided to keep and start using the freezer instead of returning it. When I followed up, another agent said the only refund available was $50 and claimed the previous agent was wrong. This puts the customer in a very unfair position because we relied on what Walmart’s own representative told us. Customers should be able to trust the information given by customer service. Unfortunately, Walmart refused to honor what was promised, which is very disappointing.

I purchased this unit because it was advertised as a refrigerator/freezer combo, but that is completely misleading. This is only a deep freezer, with no refrigerator function at all. Walmart’s listing is inaccurate and very frustrating for buyers who expect both options. If you’re looking for a true refrigerator/freezer, be warned—this is not it. Hopefully Walmart corrects the description so others don’t waste their time and money.

Excessive moisture buildup when using as refrigerator. Included manual even states to place top shelf high up because this is an issue. Also ice buildup in the bottom when running as refrigerator. Manufacturer said this wasn't common yet manual warns about it. Easy return, no packaging required.

This came with a large dent on the top. I had been contacting Walmart for about 2 months and they kept telling me I was going to get a partial refund within 10 days. However, each time I would not get a refund. After contacting them about 7 times, I was finally told Walmart's policy does not issue partial refunds, and that basically the customer support had just been telling me that to appease me and it was a lie. And then I was told that I am out of luck because at this time, the return period has lapsed. It has been an awful experience and I am so dissatisfied with how I was treated.

NEVER WORKED!! Plugged in went away food weekend, came home and checked it just to find it as warm as if was still on box. I called Monday was told they wouldn't pick it up. Explain I could not bring it back. I was put on hold, told would receive full refund in 7 10 days and DIDN'T have to return it. I called next morning 12/15 to confirm and was told the same thing in different words. received text on 18th need to return by 1st (???). I called back after going back and forth with reps and supervisor NO REFUND! **** Its also advertised as automatic defrost. paperwork say manual. *****
