It's clean, easily portable, adaptable, and cold

Arctic Wind portable air conditioner Model 2AP7500A is a great unit to cool a large room. With 7500 BTU's it starts cooling as soon as you plug it in any outlet. No special wiring needed. You do need to vent it out a window and the company provides all the equipment you need for this. It is better than a window unit for me as I can roll it around to different rooms if needed. You just need to vent it out.

I got the Arctic Wind portable air conditioner to use in my computer/craft room. This room gets warm with the heat from computers, heat guns, etc. I don't like the look of an air conditioner sticking out of the window, especially since this room faces the front of the house, so I thought I would give this portable air conditioner a try. Well let me say I should have gotten this a long time ago!! It keep the room cool and comfortable no matter what I'm doing. I love the remote control!! I can sit at the table and adjust the temperature, fan speed, etc. The directions were easy to follow and setup was simple. The window exhaust is small and sleek, it's hardly noticeable from outside. It can be a little noisy at high speed, but I usually have music on so this doesn't bother me and it's only on high until the room cools off, then you can lower the fan speed. I highly recommend this portable air conditioner!!!!

This portable A/C unit is so convenient and easy to install. Use it anywhere you have access to a window. Perfect for cooling upstairs rooms that are always a little too warm. Great cooling, ease of use and installation PLUS a dehumidifier!

We were in the market to upgrade our portable unit and came across this Arctic Wind portable ac that also had a heat option!! It works perfectly for our 300 sq ft camper! I can't wait to try it in a larger space and use the heater this winter. Definitely a space saver too because now I don't have to have a portable ac as well as a portable heater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have central air conditioning, but my husband does not like to run it on nights that are below 60 degrees. I suffer from severe outdoor allergies so sleeping with a window open is not a viable option (unless I want to toss and turn all night, and be in misery the next day). We set this portable unit up in or bedroom and run it on evenings when he shuts the central air off. It works wonderfully! It is not very loud so it does not keep us awake.

I wanted something I didn't have to put in the window that still cooled the room and this unit blasts the cold air and cools down the whole living room plus my kitchen! When people come in from outside they're greeted with the coolest air and they love it! Installation was fairly simple but you may have to do some cutting. The piece that goes in the window may not fit, I had to cut like 2 inches. Other than that, simple. I am over the moon! Huge difference!

it did what it was supposed to

Arctic 7500 BTU portable air conditioner really puts cold air in the room very fast. Not too loud and it takes very little space. It is on wheels and makes for moving very easy. However, you have to buy a hose so water can drain out a window. The package comes with the vent to put through the window, but a draining hose, is separate, meaning you have to buy a hose. When or if you chose to move it, you have to still put it close to a window. That makes it a little inconvenient. I do recommend the portable air conditioner, and got it from a promotion, so I am being very real and honest. Also has dehumidifier and a fan speed, and that makes it pretty cool.

It did not cool as I expected it to. The set temperature is 64 could be lower.
