A Well made blanket for the cost. I haven't tried washing it yet so that may change the long term rating of this blanket but so far so good. It has proven to be a great way to stay warm while I read in my chair during our cold Minnesota winters. It certainly helped save on heating bills.

I use this blanket when camping in the mountains of Colorado when elk hunting. I am always cold except for a couple days in July. Warm things are my passion! This is at the top of the list!

My very old wool blanket left over from military service was wearing out. In recent decades it has become harder and harder to find wool, let alone quality wool. Virgin wool is the best, as it is softer, warmer, and more flexible. But I could not really afford the Arcturus virgin wool blanket, so I bought this one. It has turned out to be an excellent blanket for us in the Northern cold. It is heavy and warm, not scratchy at all. Shipping was pretty fast. I also bought a duvet cover for it so I don't have to clean it as often--machine washing, and especially drying, is not so good for wool. Dry cleaning is recommended. With proper care this should last a long time.

Overall pleased with the quality of this wool blanket, not soft but most wool items are not.

A bit heavy, but expected, keeps its shape well, warm and comfortable. Should have many years of life.

It kept me warm this winter. The only thing is it has a chemical smell

Great for helping block wind but not quite heavy enough to keep u warm when it is 20° below or more when the wind is blowing really hard if u can some how keep yourself fully covered the whole time does retain some good amount of heat definitely the right size but I think it is not thick enough. I never noticed a bad smell. When is new comes very soft not itchy at all
