this is a wonderful little scale, takes up practically no room at all. very compact but will accommodate a large mixing bowl. I love how it has all the measures and can be changed easily. never have to worry about turning it off, it automatically shuts down after a few minutes.

This is a great item. With daily life going on (Toddler, house, husband, cooking) Theres no need to remember anything with this gadget. it takes the guessing & figuring out of feeding time, sleep time, & diaper changes. Theres also an extra button timer that i use for me. since i had a c-section i use this extra timer for taking my pain meds. It works great in the middle of the night for diaper changes. I use the light & clip it to my shirt to change diapers in the middle of the night. The light is bright enough to see dirty diapers @ 3am. i am also breast feeding so the breast feeding button is a plus! Only issue is I didn't have the sleep button with the (zzz)'s on it. It was another (*). i will be taking this to grandmas when baby sitting time comes around, just to help out. The lock bottom on the side blocks my toddler from resetting the timer.

I does go through batteries quickly, so we always used rechargeable batteries for this. I've accidentally dropped this a couple of times on a hard surface, and my baby has thrown it a bit, and after a year the only thing that broke was the clasp. I think it should have been made with metal instead of plastic hinges. Not only did I use it for my baby, but I also used (the star button) for myself for when to check my blood sugars (I'm a diabetic) and when to eat & take meds. With my chronic illness & 4 kids, this timer took what would be a stress filled time into smooth sailing.

My son is 20 months old now and we STILL use the itzbeen! I would probably even say that I've probably even become a little OCD about using it too. It was super, super helpful when my little one was real young because you are so tired you don't even remember your name, muchless when you last changed your baby or fed them. :) I am a very frugle person and initially I thought it might be a waste of money. If I wouldn't have received it as a gift I was going to put everything on paper. (Ha...everyone, including me knew that wasn't going to work. ;) I love this so much that I buy it for a baby shower gifts too.

I am a first time parent and this timer has really helped my husband and I keep our sanity. It helps keep us organized and keeps me from worrying on how long our son has eaten or when we changed his diaper last. :-) One of the BEST gifts we received!!

This was purchased as a shower gift and I have no idea if it will even work when the new mommy needs it. It was just put into a thin plastic bag for delivery. I'm sure it was thrown around in transit with no protection. I was really afraid to even give it to her, but it was on her registry and I had no time to purchase another one. This order also included a set of receiving blankets that were sent in another shipment and they were put into a padded mailer for delivery. They did not need protection, I wish they had used that mailer on the timer instead. Very poor judgement in the shipping department.
