I have had mine for almost three years, it a powerful machine with a 30 inch width that can easily throw the snow 50 feet so learn how to adjust you chute so you don't make your neighbors mad or Better yet i just do their driveway. The truthfully it's probably the best snowblower I ever own. This one has heated their driveway. The truthfully it's probably the best snowblower I ever own. This one's got heated hand grips a powerful engine that can plow through 2-3 feet of snow I highly recommend it. My service department where I bought it Land Pro in Clarence ny is excellent I it needs service they pick it up if they are not overly busy fix it and bring it back . I'm very pleased with my decision and very satisfied with my dealer.
I have the Deluxe 30 EFI bought this year 2021. 3 snows in and this Machine is awesome. 1 pull start every time so far. First snow was 3 inches 2nd was about 4 inches…Today's snow was 10 inches overnight. This thing blew the snow where I wanted and then some. Handled the snow plow left overs at the end of driveway. I live on a dead end road and the city plow leaves a pile at the end of my driveway. Snow was above my front end and it moved it with ease. I could not be happier with this machine. Heated handles are like heated steering wheel in truck… once you have them you can't live without. Did 3 driveways on one tank of gas. Highly recommend this machine!
The 2013 - 2014 winter proved to be one heck of a test for both man and machine. I used my new snowblower almost every day in below zero weather dealing with snow and blowing snow as it was our first winter in the country. The machine performed exceptionally well and never once complained unlike I who complained almost daily. I have no doubt it is anxiously awaiting next winter.
Over the years I've had 5 different brands of snowblower. The Ariens is better than all of the blowers overall. It is even equal to the esteemed Hondas and Yamahas at about half the cost or less. The throwing distance is fantastic and necessary with my wide driveway (approx 45' at the back end).
I live in NW Iowa and this area of IA has more snow the winter of 2022/2023 than we have had in a long time. I purchased this blower in early January. It is now early March and I have had the opportunity to use this new blower quite a few times this winter. I am impressed with this blower! I have owned several brands over the years, this is the best built snow blower I have ever owned. This unit has lots of power. My last blower was a 30" cut (another brand) had the triggers you pull to disengage a wheel and allow it to turn. I am impressed with the Auto-Turn feature, much easier to handle. I am also impressed with the distance this blower will throw snow. Wow! Excellent power as well. This last storm left a LONG drift down my sidewalk in front of my house. The drift was just as deep as the intake of the blower. It handled the deep long drift quite easily. The blower also handles the pile the plow leaves at the end of the driveway very easily. Love the steel discharge shoot and the ease in movement and ease to adjust the throw height! Great Blower all around!
Snow blowing a black top driveway.. love the controls with one comment... I have a slight case of arthritis in my hands and the two drive handles (wheels and impeller) are quite tight and require me to move my hands around to avoid cramps....a very minor point, but since you asked! If there was a way to adjust the tension on these, that would be welcome...still love the machine.
The machine works wonderfully. The past couple of days it has been very cold and the machine starts easily. Even by hand pulling. The only thing I would change is the very wimpy cotter pin that holds the handle that turns the chute. The chute gets tuned a lot and I am sure that piece will soon break.
I purchased this product to allow me to clear a steep incline long driveway as well as clear paths off pavement also up fairly steep inclines. I wanted the power to accomplish both of those jobs after having had a lawn tractor with the snow thrower attachment for many years. The product certainly has the power and does a good job throwing the snow and getting up the inclines. I would've given five stars, but I cannot seem to get the adjustment of the scraper bar and the shoes it really drives front and down causing the scraper bar to lurch across the pavement, rather than scraping smoothly and cleanly. The only resolution I have found so far is to adjust the shoes and raise the scraper bar slightly. This solves the lurching problem, but leaves a small film of snow and ice on the pavement, which is the whole purpose for having a snow removal. Unfortunately, no dealer has been able to provide me with an answer to this problem. If you are looking for a very powerful machine that will throw all types of snow material and ice well away from the area you are cleaning, this is your machine. It starts quickly, stays running, and has plenty of speeds and adjustments for really any application. Again, this would've been a five-star rating had I been able to figure out the alignment and adjustment, or received a little guidance from one of the dealers I contacted.
After the 4 use the motor ran as if the choke was on. The choke control had no effect. After taking the cover off I discovered the choke control lever had broken just above the choke butterfly. After researching the only way to replace it was to buy a new carburetor. Well it was snowing and I needed it. Be handy I welded it and repaired it myself. Works fine now. Just thought that it shouldn't have broken that soon
Machine runs great and has good potential, but right out of the gate I have a problem. When the auger/impeller clutch is released, the auger/impeller will not shut down completely and still run at a moderate speed. So far my dealer has not been able to fix this problem, and it costs me time and money to return it to the dealer for service. Not impressed with this inconvenience.
