I have had mine for almost three years, it a powerful machine with a 30 inch width that can easily throw the snow 50 feet so learn how to adjust you chute so you don't make your neighbors mad or Better yet i just do their driveway. The truthfully it's probably the best snowblower I ever own. This one has heated their driveway. The truthfully it's probably the best snowblower I ever own. This one's got heated hand grips a powerful engine that can plow through 2-3 feet of snow I highly recommend it. My service department where I bought it Land Pro in Clarence ny is excellent I it needs service they pick it up if they are not overly busy fix it and bring it back . I'm very pleased with my decision and very satisfied with my dealer.
I have the Deluxe 30 EFI bought this year 2021. 3 snows in and this Machine is awesome. 1 pull start every time so far. First snow was 3 inches 2nd was about 4 inches…Today's snow was 10 inches overnight. This thing blew the snow where I wanted and then some. Handled the snow plow left overs at the end of driveway. I live on a dead end road and the city plow leaves a pile at the end of my driveway. Snow was above my front end and it moved it with ease. I could not be happier with this machine. Heated handles are like heated steering wheel in truck… once you have them you can't live without. Did 3 driveways on one tank of gas. Highly recommend this machine!
Bought this last year to maintain my 250yd long driveway and another short steep driveway to a cabin. This machine has been without flaw! We got dumped on here in Alaska last year and we already over 50% of our average yearly snowfall fall and its only November. No worries for this snowblower though, it powers though the deep stuff and throws it a good distance. Worth every penny!
I have only purchased Ariens snowblowers since 1970 and 53 years of use has convinced me they are the best choice possible. Their performance and durability has convinced me they are the finest machines made. I have them at my home and my cabin in Northern Wisconsin. I had to replace my snowblower at the cabin and I wanted the security and knowledge that it would easily handle the significant snow that I get there. I purchased the Deluxe 30 and have used it 3 times. It is a fabulous experience to have a machine that easily handles any amount of snow and does it so easily that I only need to guide the direction it is to go. No effort or energy is required because it is so easily does a fine job. Ariens is a choice that you will never be sorry you made. The workmanship and quality is the finest possible. They truly care about their product and give you finest machines that are much more that a cut about the rest. They have earned their loyality with me many times over.
I had an older 32 inch 10 horse ariens that I used most of this winter, until I sold it. I only used the new one once . It handled the snow very well. It did seem to use a lot of gas. I had some ice ruts in the driveway and would turn when I hit them. I think Ariens makes a quality product.
I recently purchased a 30" Deluxe Ariens and I can not begin to tell you how impressed I am with this machine. I have had a few snowblowers over the years and I must say this machine blows snow farther than anything I have ever seen. This machine replaced an older Chraftsman 30" / 10 hp. and am very glad I upgraded. Congratulations Ariens for building the best snowblowers on the market.
this is my first ever snow blower. after researching different manufacturers, speaking to friends and reading several reviews, I'm glad I decided on buying Ariens. my first storm of the 2021 season was about 2 ft in depth. this 30" deluxe cut right through like with hardly any effort at all. lets hope it continues
Blew both wet and dry snow well and was easy to handle. Starting process for choke, speed and gas on/off could be clearer (better marked). A double latch for operating levers would be better as my hands got tired holding down the ground drive. Would like an optional skid with wheel and skid ( we have conc, gravel and grass areas we blow.) Seemed to have plenty of power and was geared right for depth of snow and speed needed. More than enough machine for the average needs.
Finally had enough snow(6"+) to use the new snowblower. I have about 500' of sloped paved driveway and a 2 car parking area. Unit performed well but as with all things there were a few issues. I agree with other reviewers that the unit should come with plastic skids. I had seen the marks on other driveways from steel skids and the sticking issues so the plastic makes perfect sense. I also experienced ice buildup in the 2nd stage from wet snow to the point of blocking the chamber. When I stopped to refuel the snow froze to the housing and impeller over an inch thick and required a great deal of effort to remove. This was really suprising since I applied the recommended release coating spray to all the surfaces. Also I would suggest moving the chute movement handle to the right side of the handlebars to allow operation when you right hand is free from holding the auger engaging lever on the right handdlebar. It's difficult to move it with your right hand having to cross over to the left side to operate the chute direction. I was pleased how well the unit was able to navigate up my steep slope while operating.
Machine runs great and has good potential, but right out of the gate I have a problem. When the auger/impeller clutch is released, the auger/impeller will not shut down completely and still run at a moderate speed. So far my dealer has not been able to fix this problem, and it costs me time and money to return it to the dealer for service. Not impressed with this inconvenience.
