Aries 20" Foldable Landing Pad Pro for Drones

I recently purchased the DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo PLUS with the RC2 Controller along with the Aries 20" Foldable Landing Pad Pro, and Adorama absolutely delivered on every level.<br /><br />From the moment I placed my order, the experience was smooth, fast, and reliable. These pads are great. You'll be amazed how much of a difference in makes to be able to have a smooth service to land on. It's also a great looking target that's a color that's easily to see. Besides that it's really cool, your drone has it's own helipad and you look super professional.

Really nice landing pad. Didn?t think I?d have much use for it but I?m not comfortable hand launching my drone yet so this only makes sense. Plus my grass is taller than the drone blades and this give it a nice level, and clear surface to takeoff/land from. For as cheap as it is it is a good purchase.

The landing pad is great for use on grassy/uneven terrain. It?s nicely weighted and feels very solid and well-constructed. Perhaps just me, but it could be *slightly* bigger. Account for wind direction before auto-landing your drone on it, there?s not a lot of spare room on the pad if the wind makes your drone drift sideways during it?s auto-landing procedure (from 3? off the ground in my case). Overall a nice piece of kit though.

I really liked the pad! I'm a complete noob with drones so remember that, but I really like it! The pad is double sided, one side orange the other blue. The material seems to be like a vinyl so should be water resistant. The pad has rectangles in-between the ply's of vinyl wich adds a weight feature and allows for easy folding, and it comes with a nice storage bag. After using it a few times since I got it I really like how easy it folds and the weight feature wich keeps it from blowing away with wind. Overall I'm impressed cool little takeoff and landing pad!

If you are new to flying a drone, and are now the proud mother and/or father of a new Mini 3/Mini 3 Pro... CONGRATULATIONS!!!<br /><br />Now let's get serious... from one proud hobbyist to another...<br />If you're not comfortable with hand launching, I get it. But if you're planning on taking off from, and landing on the dirty ground.......... USE A PAD!!<br /><br />The angles of the Mini 3 propeller arms are different now than the Mini 2. The Mini 3 propeller tips come much closer to the ground than the Mini 2, and both arms spin the propellers inward towards the gimbal. Besides possibly kicking up dust or sand across your camera lens, the gimbal arms are not dust proof!<br />Keeping your baby's area as clean as possible will prevent any "rashy" situations, and ensure you keep those cinematic, transitioning shots as smooth as a baby's bottom!!

It's great product, serve the purpose. I wish it comes with the pegs too but did not, I have to buy it from a camping store just to find the right size that would fit on the provided eyelets to secure it to the ground incase if there's a little breeze in the area where I'll fly my drone.

I like the product. To me, it?s a little small for the Mavic 3, as it doesn?t give much room for error in landing the larger of the foldable drones. The first time <br />I used it using the RTH function on the control, it landed just off the landing pad causing the drone?s blades to make contact with the long grass. I think the 25 inch pad would be the better choice to include with the fly more combination.
