I needed these Nerf Bars to enter my truck. I have C.O.P.D. and arthritis in my back. These Nerf Bars were much more than I expected. The quality is outstanding, and the engineering that went into the mounting could not have been better. On my back in the drive way with my oxygen on I had these installed just over an hour. These made it so easy getting in and out of my truck I wish I would have done this long ago. Besides, these add equity to your vehicle. Shipping was made so easy even when I ordered the wrong ones. Their return policies are the best. Thank you very much folks for a great product Larry M. Conn.
The black nerf bars purchased for my 2015 Nissan Frontier are good quality and finish. The install is a bit of a headache because the instructions were a bit difficult to understand but you have a mechanical background you should be able to figure it out. The engineering for the right side bar needs a bit of re-engineering because there is an electronic control module very close to the mount and it needs to be notched to prevent damage to the module.
Fairly easy installation dispute vague instructions. Proper instalation does require air operated impact driver. Unfortunatly, Poor packaging resulted in two dents in the product. Great product, but it should be packaged better for safe shipment. Be sure to inspect for damage upon arrival.
Bought these for my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Took my brother and i less than 2 hours to put them both on. Quite simple... no need for a lift. The instructions that came with it were pretty poor and very hard to see the pictures on them. However, it is pretty obvious where they attach to once you get under the truck and look at things. Hard to say whether or not they will stand up to the elements over time but so far i am happy with the way they look anf the price. My local body shop wanted 275 dollars to have these put on... dont bother, save yourself the money and do it yourself.
Installation instructions were pretty vague. It took alot of guess work, especially since I've never done anything like it. Once I figured it out the passenger side took about 5 minutes. These things look GREAT and make it alot easier to get in and out of the truck.
Received the order in a box that was severely damaged from Federal Express. Upon opening, both bars had dents in them. I don't know who was responsible for the damage and I re-boxed them and called customer service who were friendly and seemed interested in resolving the issue and making things right. Sent them pictures of the damage for their review. Made a follow up call to Truck World customer service about 8 or 9 days ago. The rep told me they have everything from me and were sending a new pair out that day. I have yet to see them.
