this is absolutely the best "instant" noodle I've ever had. I got these today and I am definitely reordering this flavor. it's complex and spicy, but not hot just to be hot. I've never had a noodle with that texture and consistency. I love it! this is going to become a regular order!
Really excellent noodles, not like ramen at all. I think this, Vongole, is my fave of the flavors (clam flavored). has a powdered seasoning packet and a flavored oil packet, which makes for creamy texture.
These were very tasty. I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of taste. It's very easy to prepare as a quick work lunch. While the portion was quite sufficient for me someone with a larger appetite might want more. I was excited to try the truffle bulgogi flavor because it didn't have any red meat or their derivatives in it. I am allergic to beef and pork so I read the ingredients carefully. It's very flavorful, I didn't notice truffle very much but I don't like it to be overt, anyway. It has a somewhat buttery taste and mouth feel. I will be ordering this on repeat. The next one I am going to try is the Soy Butter.
If you are following the microwave instructions, look carefully inside the bowl for the second water line. It's very faint, so I thought maybe "lower water line" in the instructions just meant the line below the top rim. Don't be like me! Look below the noodles for a second line, or enjoy some tteokbokki flavored soup.
Tastes and smells so so so good. Noodles are perfect the sauce taste is balanced. My new go to noodle. The bulgoli pieces taste delish.
first time trying this, I had no idea until after buying what vongole was. after cooking the noodles and adding the seasonings and oil I was like oh this smells not so good how am I gonna eat this. but the smell mellowed out and it's super tasty. I will buy them again!
I tried both the Vongole and Black Pepper Tteokbokki flavors, and I think they pair perfectly together. The creamy vongole is rich and smooth, and following it with the spicy tteokbokki makes for the perfect balance. It feels like an instant elevated pasta—the thick, wide noodles really give it a premium, restaurant-quality taste. I was initially curious because BTS was involved in the product development, but it honestly exceeded my expectations. It was so good that I've already bought it again. Highly recommended!
Earthy smell. The sauce and flavor is thick and full, not watery at all. The noodles are well coated. It is also buttery and silky with small bits of beef that actually taste like beef. Some Korean side dishes and a few slices of beef would make this a complete and filling meal. While the sodium is high, it doesn't taste salty. One adjustment I would make if your microwave is stronger than 1000w. Lower the cooking time. With five minutes it boiled over, soaked the bottom of the cup and almost pulled the outer label off. I would buy again.
I was most excited about the Gochujang flavor but it was out of stock. I was hesitant to try this because I thought it would be too fishy. I was delightfully wrong. It is delicious!! If you like linguine with clam sauce, this is your boo. There's a slight spice to it but I would consider it mild and I kicked it up with a little white pepper. The noodles have a very nice texture and the sauce ends up being slightly creamy which has a good mouth/tongue feel. This tastes like it came from an upscale ramen restaurant near the coast. I added some green onions to it and a hard boiled egg. I will definitely buy this again. I would recommend buying the packages instead of the bowls if you're not using these for a work microwave because you get a better deal. I hope to get the gochujang flavor next. Walmart, please keep this in stock as so many items I've loved in the past you discontinued.
These are absolutely delicious! I was prepared to be disappointed by yet another bowl of quick ramen when I made this for lunch but this took me by surprise. The texture of the thick noodles was so satisfying; it had a bit of a bounce but wasn't overly chewy at all. The seasonings were the real stars of the show: complex, beefy, earthy, and unlike any other ramen I've ever had. The beef wasn't artifical tasting at all! I would buy this again and again; it's that good! I usually need to add furikaki or other ramen seasonings to round out my ramen but this was perfect as is and definitely trying the other flavors now!
