ARM & HAMMER Cat Litter Deodorizer Double Duty, 30 oz

I have a male cat who could not be neutered the regular way because of a physical anomaly. This means he can still spray, and he's been quite a problem. I had planned to just bring him in for the winter a couple years ago, but he has chronic health issues and needs medication so can't be out with the other TNR cats anymore. This has been the best solution for the rugs and the litter box as well. It makes living with this little guy much more pleasant.

We have 3 cats, so litter is a non-stop chore. I had always bought A&H in the past but tried afew different newer types when I took over litter duty. Just as in the past, nothing else scooped as nicely, or smelled better. In fact, I even tried on numerous occasions, the “Multi cat” version of this same litter and realized my mistake instantly as the odours were way more and when scooping, it would crumble and spread all over the box, meaning I needed to change the entire box instead of scooping and refilling in between major box changes. The cost of litter is atrocious so I want to get as long out of a box as possible. With the A&H double cat litter formula, paired with their litter box powder, I can scoop the three boxes every other day with no odours, and a box lasts me almost a month for 3 cats & boxes. There may be prettier/more environmental options out there, but there is no other option as good as this for duration and odour control. Period.

This stuff is amazing and works super well. The snell is strong so some cats might find it offensive. It dies neutralize bad litter box smells really well. I would highly recommend. Honest this review made me realize I should go buy some more lol

We have 3 cats & 3 big litter boxes (about to be 4 boxes) and the 40 pound box fills all 3 and if you properly maintain your litter boxes on a daily basis, it will last a month or more!!! My cat is picky especially when it comes to litter. I learned very fast that he enjoys the finer things in life.Winston loves clumping but the different textures and smells from certain brands..well he wasn't impressed to say the least. I was nervous this may not meet his expectations but I couldn't have been more wrong. The scent is wonderful, it's not dusty and is more fine (which he loves) and it clumps so well that your not wasting litter because it just sits in it. This litter soaks up every drop and keeps it clumped tight so it's super easy to clean. It can be a little pricy but I feel it balances out because you use less.

I really love this litter but after a while. You can smell the cat pee while cleaning the litter box. I add more but the pee gets stronger and stronger. But over all I give it a 3 cause it does clump and some what seal. Not ever litter is perfect but I wish this one was. The pee doesn't stick to the bottom of the litter box

Hello, I thought I was going crazy but then I went to Reddit and saw this has been happening for over a year to other folks. They no longer control odors, ESPECIALLY urine, which has become eye watering while cleaning out the boxes lately. They don't clump well at all, the color and texture out of the box has changed from a lighter grey to a much darker grey color (which probably means that they either contain less baking soda now, or are not dried as thoroughly? which could explain BOTH issues consumers are having. I'm unsure of the ingredients and makeup of litter, but the product has really gone down-hill especially in the last couple boxes for me. Others have seemingly had this problem for much longer already. The most recent boxes I have purchased, from multiple vendors have all exhibited the same "new" look and lack of functionality. I switched to your product over covid time when prices of other litters went up, yours stayed reasonable and it was almost as good, but I and many other users are seemingly very disappointed in your products now and will most likely be switching away. Please look into this issue or I fear you'll be losing a lot more customers in the future.

I've been using this litter for about a year now and recently the formula must've changed. The litter is significantly darker and gravelly. It barely masks any odor and I clean the litter box every morning and night, doing a full litter change weekly. I'm very disappointed, it used to be my favorite litter.

I have been using this cat litter for a really long time, and this is the first time I have poured it into the litter box, where it looks, feels, and smells like cheap dollar-store brands. It's much coarser than its usual fine texture. My cat smells of cat litter, no matter how clean the box is. Not sure if they changed the formula, but the box looks the same. We don't usually get the giant box, but we have since gotten a second cat, so we have two litter boxes now. I am VERY disappointed in this litter. Before this box, I would have given them five stars; it has always been consistent, but now I am nervous to buy again.
