Arm & Hammer Essentials Whiten & Activated Charcoal Fluoride Free Toothpaste, 4.3 oz (Pack of 3)

I've heard of the activated charcoal before but hadn't had a chance to get it yet plus I was weary of the taste. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that it tasted like regular toothpaste. It leaves my breathe nice and fresh and I was starting to see a difference in the colour of my teeth before I ran out of the sample. I will definitely be buying this going forward.

I didn't notice a ton of results with the small sample but I have read a ton of reviews saying they noticed a huge difference so I will try!

Though the sample size window could have been a bit more generous on this one I did feel like it did a good job stacked up against my current brand. the only problem was the size of the sample wasn't big enough to see the results claimed if you brush twice a day

I do not like the regular Arm and Hammer toothpaste as I find that it tastes too much like baking soda. This new toothpaste does not have such a heavy taste to it. It was kind of refreshing.

But the abrasive carbon particles felt strange when I was brushing and took a few extra rinses to fully remove from my mouth. I did not care for the taste. It smells like normal minty toothpaste, but there's a slight bitter and salty taste. I have friends who aim to reduce artificial additives in their lives. I would recommend this toothpaste to them, but no one else.

As much as I like the sound of a toothpaste that is free of negative ingredients, this product has a ways to go before it can compete with standard toothpaste. It was tolerable at night, but did not provide a refreshing enough feeling for in the morning.
