ARM & HAMMER Extra Strength Carpet Odor Eliminator Powder, Fresh Scent, 30 oz

I am extremely familiar with the product. I haven't used this particular item in awhile before now as I had hardwood floors where I previously lived and therefore had no need for this product. Arm %26 Hammer is a very popular and reliable brand. I trust there products. They are of high quality.

We had a lot of rain and got water in the carpeting in our basement and it smelled awful. The smell creeped upstairs and we had to do something to get the smell out. I searched online and found this product and since it is made by Arm %26 Hammer, I knew it would be a good product. We sprinkled it on the wet carpeting and by the next day, the smell was gone. The scent is very fresh and did its job. We aren't tearing our carpet out just yet so we keep reapplying whenever the smell comes back. I can't say enough good things about this product and highly recommend you try it.

This stuff is easy to use. Sprinkle it on the carpet, wait a few minutes, and vacuum it up. It leaves the room smelling fresh and helps get rid of odors that seem to stick around forever. The scent is noticeable without being overwhelming, and a little goes a long way. It's one of those simple products that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Five stars from me and probably from my vacuum too.

Easy to vacuum out of carpets. Smells so clean and fresh! I have a big stinky dog that loves to lay on the rugs at the doors. My carpet cleaner broke, and I can't afford a new one right now, so this is a great alternative for removing odors from carpet. My only complaint is with the container dispenser, it pours out the powder, and you have to sprinkle it close to the carpet or it will stay airborne too long. It smells so good I put a little bit in small old containers, poke holes in the lid and use it to freshen the whole house.

smells good not as good as the original one I think but I still buy it to try different things you still should try it, I love arm %26 Hammer for the carpet especially if you have animals, I tried different ones all the time you really need to try it

I was surprised at how nice the house smelled after using this carpet refresher and it lingered for days. It took very little more effort than just vacuuming and with 2 dogs in the house the extra touch makes a great difference to my “sensitive” nose 🤣 I like it and will definitely be using it again soon and I recommend it to everyone who has carpets.

I KNOW that we shouldn't be using heavily scented things in 2026 but it just smells so good and the scent lasts so long. It's easy to sprinkle and easy to vacuum. We only have a couple of area rugs and our couches that I do and a box lasts me 3-4 uses.

I like this one better than the other pet kind. This one is more powerful in masking my cat litter pan scent! This is not even considered for pet odor but yet its stronger than the pet kind!

I love this product! It keeps carpets fresh and smelling wonderfully without being overbearing. I also sprinkle some in the bottom of my kitchen trashcan before I put a bag in. It really helps keep odors at bay. I highly recommend this!

(B) As described and works well. It leaves a lasting fresh scent to the carpet. However if your carpet has heavy odor you will need more than the carpet powder to eliminate it. It applies heavy do you have to be gentle when shaking it onto the area you wish to use it on. It vacuums up easily and does not leave a gritty feeling behind. Good quality and worth the value for the money. Great to use to just refresh the room/carpet.
