Life changing. My cat steps in her urine a little so getting clay litter has always been out (=concrete on your cats feet). I was using corn cob litter for years, but this tracks around your house something terrible. It also sticks to my cats feet, so it’s always in her bed, (mine if I catch her jumping up on it-yuck) or on the sofa, coffee table- yuck yuck yuck. With Hardball litter, my cats feet %26 paws have never been cleaner. She’s made efforts at cleaning her feet and she looks like a regular cat with clean feet now- with only one bag. My cat is diabetic. So when she pees, she’s peeing the amount of a small plastic football. Litter duty is a chore. But when you scoop this litter, IT ALL COMES UP. It doesn’t break into tiny bits. NO SOILED LITTER IS LEFT BEHIND IN THE LITTER BOX. And I haven’t seen any of this litter on my cats feet or around the house. Like I said- life changing.
It is the perfect litter. I have seven rescue cats and this was definitely a game changer for me. It takes me no more than 10 minutes to do all their litter boxes and you can’t even tell. I have cats unless you see them. I’m actually saving money as this litter last a long time I’ve told a lot of people about the stuff that have cats and as soon as they tried it, they switched immediately. Thankful that there’s a litter out there like us.
I've been using this litter for two years. It's the best cat litter I have ever purchased. It's easy to scoop, lasts for ages, doesn't stick to the bottom of the box. But I am BEGGING for an unscented one. I have one picky cat who won't use it and only likes unscented litter so I have something else in her box and every time I have to scoop it, I dream of an unscented hardball.
Lightweight and wonderful! You can't smell anything except the litter. The smell is not too strong but smells so good. It clumps better than any other litter I have ever used. I will never go back to the other kinds of litter.
We love this litter in our litter robot and the conventional litter boxes. It does a great job concentrating the liquids and solids. All four cats like this litter. It is more sandlike and easy to paw thru and scoop.
Literally the best cat litter I've ever bought!!!! The pee is absorbed and the clumps are not smoshy, they are literally hard and once you get under them with scooper they come right up. They rarely ever stink. Once scooped there is no poop smell lingering. Amazing product and much easier to lift with new light weight formula.
Being an owner of multiple cats, i have struggled to find a litter that effectively manages odor. Arm and Hammer Hardball cat litter is the product i have beeb searching for. the product is super lightweight, yet works better and longer than clay litter. The scent is pleasant and doesn't smell like "cat litter" when used, and it lasts so much longer. The hard clumps are easy to clean, and as long as you are cleaning your litter daily, there is no issue with sticking. This product is a true game changer and has truly made litter box care so much easier. My cats took to the product with no issues and actually seem to prefer it to their old litter. This is definitely recommended this product to others, and i will continue to purchase for my own cats.
This is the best litter I have ever used. It doesn't make any litter dust and the clumps stay together really well. I feel like I am saving time when cleaning the litter box because the clumps are so easy to remove. I also love that after cleaning the litter box, I don't feel like I inhaled the litter dust and my clothes still smell GREAT! The litter is more expensive then some other options, but i really is worth it!!! Try it! You won't be disappointed. It will change the way you feel about cleaning your cat's litter box!
Hardball Litter is the best cat litter I've ever used. It has a sand texture that is gentle on declawed paws. It forms rubber like clumps that don't fall apart. It encapsulates the poop, trapping the odor. It doesn't leave any residues on the litter box, so the box stays clean. It practically sifts itself. The good litter flows easily through scoop or sifter. I just keep the litter topped up in the boxes until my nose tells me it's time to change it, and I get a lot of mileage between changes. Not suitable for electronic litter boxes, as some clumps may be too large for the machine to process...seriously, the clumps don't break. Not suitable for enclosed litter boxes, as the "scent" is strong and it doesn't come in unscented. If you use a standard open top litter box, A%26H Hardball Litter is a Godsend. Your Purrkids will like the color/texture, and you'll enjoy the easy maintenance. It's plant based and guilt-free eco-friendly. Walmart is $5 cheaper on the 16lb bag than anywhere else. I have 7 special needs Purrkids using 4 xxl boxes and use a 16lb bag per week...it's worth every penny. I also use a litter sifter (Sift Ease) that cuts cleaning time in half using the Hardball Litter.
Heavily scented, the dust/scent made us choke before and after it was used. The clumps fell apart while cleaning the litter and made a mess. Also, my senior cat seemed to be really affected by it, with significant sinus symptoms. Too expensive and not for this pet family.
