Buying in bulk *can* work out less expensive and this a good example. Price per wash load worked out less but only after purchasing the additional nozzle. We do a fair amount of washing in the household so it's helpful not to have to re-purchase so often. Downsides: The cap is extremely difficult to remove without tools. I used an adjustable pipe wrench to get it open. Next, you'll need to purchase either a nozzle for this specific container or pour into a smaller container for daily use. The latter can be pretty messy. All this said, the detergent itself works fine and I will continue to purchase.

It's extremely difficult to get open however Once get it open it's worth it

Very efficient, would last me a while. Could have been filled a little closer to the top of container, and have a push pipe below container for easy pouring. It was very easy for me to open, I just used a large flat head screw-driver and pried it open from the bottom section of the screw-top. It took less than one minute. This soap product washes very clean.

Although a great deal. Buyers should beware… there is a need for a special tool for the initial opening.

The actual product "Arm & Hammer He Compatible Liquid Detergent" t self works good on all types and colors of clothes. But the container it comes was very difficult to get open they should of put a top that had a spout to pull out as some others I bought do or with a top that can be more easily opened with slits already around the top. Because your'll need a 1" wide chisel a wide screw driver and sharp ten snips or heavy duty sheers to cut slits on the sides of the top to open it....... and at least 30 min to 45 min to open.
