having bought watches from Armitron in the past and always been pleased, I expected this to be excellent and it is very good. the only issue I have is that the month and day are not showing on the face and must be brought up as an extra

I like it so well that each time the battery goes dead, I order me a new watch. I don't know how to replace the battery or it's not worth the price to replace it.

I've been using this kind of watch for 6 or 7 years now. Armitron has updated and changed them a bit over that time but they've always sold something right along these same lines. They're durable, not overly eye-catching, and have a couple handy add-ons. Perfect for daily use! I replace them every year or two when they eventually give out, (usually the electronics go out but one time it was the band). Considering the cost they'd be worth it if they only lasted a few months.

This is actually the 2nd time I have purchased this watch at Walmart. I loved the first one - it was a small and attractive watch that I could wear while swimming laps! I purchased the 2nd one because I caught my wrist in a door unexpectedly and accidentally severed the band so the watch was no longer wearable. ( I had the first watch for 2 years and it was still working fine until that accident.) I have had the 2nd watch for about a week and have already worn it swimming several times with no issue. The only thing I find somewhat frustrating about the watch is that the combination of buttons that must be pushed to set the alarm is not intuitive - I need to refer back to the instructions every time I need to set or unset the alarm. Still highly recommend!

I would like the watch more if it had a 24-hour display like 13:00 for 1:00pm and 00:00 for 12:00am.

This is the only watch my daughter will wear. When she wears out one (5 years) she gets the same watch again. She is now graduating from high school and I am getting her two just in case she needs an extra when she is away at college.
