Bought this cab a few years after I purchased the Cub Cadet 3 Stage 28" Snow blower.... don't know what I was waiting for! Keeps the snow and wind out of my face, can't imagine using the machine without it. Highly recommend 1000%.

My home faces west, not only that but also faces the lake. That being said clearing the drive and walkways is a frigid challenge. Bought the snow cab to block out the fierce winds and the non-forgiving whiteout's from blowing snow. IT WORKS! No more Frosty the Snowman, now I'm dry and unaffected by the elements. Best buy I made this year.

The instructions are clear but you need a pretty open space to lay out the parts and assemble the cab. I recommend that you not tighten all the bolts until the cab is installed and ready for use. Tighten them all and you're ready to go. The cab provides great protection while using the blower. I'm 75 years old and no longer affected by wind or blow back. Makes the job a lot easier and enjoyable. Great price for a lot of protection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This can was easy to build and fits my Troy-bilt 24" snow blower like a glove. Takes a little bit to figure out how to mount the actual cab to the frame. However, they have a YouTube video for building this product and after watching it the project was easy. I estimate it took about an hour from start to finish. The included instructions are excellent and the frame and cab material is superior. All the poles are well labeled. Just waiting for the snow now to test it out. From what I can tell, this will fit just about any snow thrower.

This snow cab does a great job for the price! The only thing I would recommend is that the instructions were a bit clearer on the final step of mounting it. It should be mounted very securely onto the frame of the snowblower once the placement has been established. Tighten it down! It truly is universal - after seeing mine several of my neighbors have bought it for theirs. Very happy especially for $67 delivered!

I already had a cab for my snowblower but I've had it for awhile and it was getting a little worn down, cracking plastic, etc. Searched high and low before settling on this one and I wasn't disappointed. After assembly, it mounts more solidly than my old one and the assembly was more straight forward. The fiberglass rods were a little tricky to get positioned but it wasn't a big ordeal. The only issue I had with assembly is the tube where the cab frame is supposed to slide into the frame on the snowblower was a little bit off kilter and I had to wrestle with it some to get it into position. Also, the brackets that mount it to the snowblower were limited by the position of some bolts that are on the snowblower's handle. That prevented me from mounting it a little lower on the snowblower, which would have been nice but that's more about the construction of the snowblower. It clears my garage door and that's all that really matters. There was one quirk with the flap. It has some hook and loop on the flap that allows access to the chute control, I guess so you can roll up the flap and fasten it in place but the separate sections of hook and loop are perpendicular when you roll it up. Not a big deal as I don't plan on using it. Overall, I consider it an upgrade over my old one. The construction seems more solid and the plastic used in the windows seems to be of a better quality. Plus, I caught it when it was on sale so no complaints there. Overall, thumbs up. I would have given it five stars if not for the slightly out of plumb frame piece, which may have just been the luck of the draw in my case and the quirky velcro. Neither were deal breakers though and I would purchase it again.

Installed this on my Ariens 2 cycle. It's not a perfect fit because it's made to fit several makes of machine but it was half the cost of the brand name. The directions were horrible especially if installed on a horizontal bar. This does the job just fine and I'd buy it again.

Only downside so far is the canopy tends to slowly tilt back during use. Make sure it's really tight. I'm going to place small strips of rubber between the canopy clamp and the handlebar to create more friction.
