Arnold rye beats all competitors and costs less. It comes in seeded and unseeded versions as well as pumpernickel. The taste matches others. What sets it apart is its moistness. It toasts perfectly, but if you eat it out of the bag, it has more flavor because it's moist--not dried out. By comparison, other brands taste stale.
I had to stop eating whole grains except rye and did not realize how much more expensive that is. I am purchasing a lot of it as my husband is now a fan also. Walmart makes it affordable and offers a great selection. This is my first go two for taste and cost. Very good rye.
My husband loves the Arnold Seeded Rye bread, says it is fresher than the Pepperidge Farm brand. Seeded Rye can be hard to find in our local groceries, and, they charge $4.69 vs the $3.98 at Walmart. Quite a savings on price, and saves me from having to go to multiple groceries looking for what I want.
It's really the only bread that I eat. It is especially good as a hot dog bun.\n And just the right length. There is a very close competitor whose Rye bread is not near as good.
I prefer Arnold rye because no matter how many times I purchase alays consistent with flavor , softness of bread always taste fresh also it toast nicely. I prefer seeded but for those that can't eat seeds they also sell without seeds.
This seeded rye is always soft fresh and delicious. Makes great tasting sandwiches. I love a good turkey and swiss on rye. Also great toasted with a little cream cheese spread on top as a snack.
I actually eat two of these cookies every morning with my green tea! I've been doing this for years! I just tell my kids that I'm having my oatmeal for breakfast! Of course my kids are adults and don't live with me so they don't need to worry!
I'm not sure what happened to this bread. I usually like their bread. Never ordered it from Walmart. It tasted like cardboard. Old, Dry taste. It was packaged accordingly. Not expired. Maybe a bad batch. I used to buy it at Winn Dixie all the time; disappointed :-((
I've bought three of these. I know it's healthy but it tastes are nothing to write home about. I have ordered some whole wheat bread .
Make sure you check your bread good from Walmart. This is the second time I have had bad bread delivered to me. I also received one loaf that was not closed up.
