Arnold Whole Grains 100% Whole Wheat Bread, 24 oz

Arnold's products are always high in quality, so I am not surprised that this bread is good, but it is REALLY good! I have not always been a fan of whole grain breads. I grew up in the 50's eating Wonder Bread. Our parents were absolutely sure that it was more nutritious than other bread, even though it was as white and squishy as the others. 😂 In my so-called golden years, I have been trying to actually eat healthier. The point is that I have tried about 50 kinds of whole grain bread, and this one is truly delicious, and that is high praise indeed, coming from a white-bread girl. 😁

This is the best whole wheat bread I have ever eaten. It has a great texture. The flavor is very good and goes well with sandwich fixings as well as great toast toppings. I can enjoy eating this whole grain knowing I am getting nutrition not empty carbs.

Because I have so many allergies to preservatives, additives, and colorings, I am limited in what I can eat breadwise. This is a dependable, tasty, and all around good bread. I find that it stores better in the refrigerator because it doesn't have any preservatives in it. So I usually toast it before I make a sandwich. And it has a great, hearty taste.

The particular store that delivers my groceries needs to check expiration dates. I end up having to freeze the bread to make it last longer than a week. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE WALMART, THEIR DELIVERY PEOPLE, THE SERVICE REPS. VERY SINCERE, THEY GIVE THEIR ALL. IF THERES AN UNEXPECTED ISSUE THEY COMPENSATE " IMMEDUATELY", AND LET YOU KNOWCYOU'RE A VALUED CUSTOMER. I have the same issue with milk , I need more than a weeks time to use it re: expiration dates.

The slices are super big, but the recent purchase had smaller slices. It was not the loaf specifically labeled sandwich style. Now I wonder if they no longer make those super sized slices. Anyway, the bread is tasty and healthy. I have eaten this bread for decades, but only during the periods of time when I can afford it. It is expensive, but superior choice for vitamins and minerals...imo.

This is the best tasting healthier version of bread. We love it and it's the only kind of sandwich bread I've consistently bought for over 2 years now.

It seemed a bit on the dry side. after taking a few slices from the package, and setting it on the counter, it jut collapsed in on itself and made it very difficult to make a sandwich.

I like to buy the 12 and 15 grain breads but I find they are often unavailable. This whole wheat bread is ok but it tastes very bland for the high price and it's texture is drier than I care for.

First impression? This is a small loaf. This might be okay for older people or people who eat just a little bit but in terms of carbohydrates, it has roughly the same amount as most other "normal sized" loaves. Now, I'm not talking about the number of slices (length) but the height and width. If normal loaves are 4" by 4" this has to be 3" by 3". Taste was meh. It's a whole grain bread that for some reason they insist on putting the whole grains inside of it to remind you that you're eating whole grain? I'm really not sure why companies do this. I get it, I'm trying to eat healthy, you don't have to add random hard spots to torture me more. Overall, the size plus the chunks through out the bread and then the cost? To me, this is not worth the money. I think I'd be just as happy with a genaric loaf costing about a third of what this does.

This particular loaf of bread that I purchased when I went to make a sandwich a few minutes ago I realize that the bag had a hole in it near the tie. Do I have to bring this bread by today for a refund or a replacement or can I bring it back tomorrow?
