This rice cooker is delightfully user-friendly. Its simplicity of operation makes it a standout choice for both beginners and seasoned cooks; with its one-touch operation and its clear instructions, setting it up was a breeze. It has a generous capacity, allowing you to prepare up to 20 cups of rice at once. Its non-stick inner pot ensures easy cleaning, saving you time and effort in the kitchen. The appliance's compact size is perfect for kitchens with limited counter space, making it a practical choice for any home. The inner basket is really lightweight, which I am very grateful for as it makes washing easier. This rice cooker is very durable, and everything I make in it has come out perfect so far. It includes a steam basket, which I use to make steamed vegetables. My rice came out fluffy and perfect after using this cooker, and I like how quickly it cooks. This came with a measuring cup and spatula, and I was very happy about that, leaving me with one less thing to worry about. I also like that when it's done, the switch flips itself and automatically starts warming the rice. Overall, this is a great rice cooker that I would recommend.
I have been experimenting with cooking over the past 2 years and rice is something I've been struggling with. It always turned out too "gummy". The first time I used this rice cooker, I had perfect rice and it was incredibly easy to make. I also made the rice with this and then easily turned it into fried rice and it was amazing. Definitely a game changer for my cooking.
I received this rice cooker to make rice but I found out that it can do a lot more than just rice. When I opened it I saw a recipe book and a coupon for Mahatma rice. This Aroma Rice Cooker and Food Steamer is great for rice and makes from 4 to 20 cups of cooked rice. It is well constructed and BPA free. So, after cooking rice I made a simple recipe on the front of the box. It was really easy just mixed 2 cups of shredded cooked chicken, 2 - 15oz cans of chili beans, 1 cup frozen corn, and 1.5 cups of honey flavored BBQ sauce. Put the lid on and hit the cook button and when the warm light comes on it is done. Really easy... Great product! It easy to clean and wash and will fit any scenario your family has. I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program.
Perfect rice maker. Super easy to use. Has a measuring cup and spatula included. No extra tools need to make the perfect rice. It has the non stick inner pot that the rice just slips right out of when serving. I love the glass see through lid. Very nice looking when on your counter. It will even keep your rice warm after cooking.
This rice cooker is perfect for me. It makes a large enough amount of rice for a family of 4 while not being overly large on the countertop. The build quality impressed me for the price and it could not be easier to operate and clean. I am not sure what would convince someone that they need a more expensive rice cooker.
Honestly making a great pot of rice couldn't get much easier than this. I've never had a dedicated rice cooker but have used my instant pot many times with the rice button. But this is sooooo easy! One button easy! As long as you can read directions on how much rice to water ratio, you will have perfect rice or grains. I made arroz con leche and it came out perfect. I used 6 cups water to 3 cups long grain white rice and added some sugar and cinnamon sticks, hit the cook button and in about 25 minutes I had perfectly soft but not too soft rice. I finished up with my remaining ingredients and had a warm, delicious dessert. I've also been on the Aroma recipe site looking at some incredible ways to use my rice cooker. From soups to pancakes. Who knew? Not only am I impressed with this appliance, I think I'm more impressed with the company and what they stand for. They are US company with exceptional values. Hard to find in this day and age.
Got my white Aroma 20-cup Rice Cooker/Slow cooker and it's just what I needed to cook those healthy family meals. The Aroma rice cooker is more then just a rice cooker. You can make a meal just from this one cooker. Not only can you cook different types of rice but you can steam your vegetables at the same time, just click the button and go back to watching TV. Want to make a soup? Yep it can do that too. The rice cooker comes with the non stick rice pot, a steaming basket, a measuring cup and a spoon. The instruction booklet gives you the measurements needed for your rice, the cooking times for your vegetables, oh and also you have cooking times for meats. Up to 20 cups of rice can be made with the Aroma rice cooker and it does a perfect job. Easy to clean and store. It's a one stop shop for healthy coming. Had a cook and warm option. Cooked rice, broccoli and steak strips in no time. Recommend for us who like n all one rice/ steam cooker.
The Aroma Rice Cooker is a handy little appliance. I was a little skeptical about this rice cooker due to its low price point, but not after I used it for several meals. You can spend hundreds of dollars on a rice cooker, but you really don't need to with this item. It is light weight, has a non-stick inner pot, and comes with a steamer tray, measuring cup and rice spatula. This rice cooker does not come with temperature or timer controls, but for some magical reason, it knows when to shut the pot off for perfect rice. The instructions that come with this cooker, has a chart for various amounts of rice and suggestions for steamed vegetables. I especially liked cooking a small batch of chili in this and the cooker held what seemed like the exact cooking temperature during the entire process. Steaming vegetables does take a little longer time then cooking on the stove, or in the microwave, but the vegetables not only retain more vitamins, but keep their brilliant color. Since I live alone, this size of pot is perfect for me, especially with soups and stews, but a larger family would benefit from the capability to cook up to 10 cups of rice without having to keep an eye on the cooking process. The cooker will stop the cooking process and switch to keep warm automatically. I am really impressed with this rice cooker/steamer.
This rice cooker is really amazing. The measurements are right in the pot, so it's as simple as putting in how ever many cups of rice you want, filling water to the right line, and pressing a button. This one comes with the spoon and vegetable steamer too, which we are using to steam vegetables for our infant who is just starting solids. It is also extremely easy to clean and is dishwasher safe. I am so happy I found this incredibly easy way to cook rice
Here is what I found using this Rice Cooker: 1. When following the instructions, white rice turns out sticky and wild rice turns out undercooked. Only brown rice cooks according to the instructions, for other rice you need to figure out how much water to put in via trial and error. 2. The product splashes out a huge amount of water and steam while cooking rice. I had to clean the surrounding of the cooker both times I cooked rice in this. It's pretty annoying. 3. The "keep warm" feature works well. I like that and I have had good luck with that portion of the cooker 4. if it didn't splash out so much water, it would be an excellent size. I usually serve rice with my stir fry meals and this makes an ample amount and I still have enough left over to chill for fried rice the next day. Bottom Line - the rice cooker is adequate for the job EXCEPT for that annoying leaking of water out the steam vent hole or the sides of the cooker.
