This little waffle maker does more and then some. I love it! It does everything that it says it can do which is just the basics but you can flip everything on its head and create all kinds of sandwiches waffles and donuts. The sky's the limit! This Great Little Work Horse does it all! I love it!
I love it! I'm an over the road truck driver and this is perfect to have in the truck if you like to make waffles, eggs, bacon, etc. I love that the plates come apart, so it's easy to clean if you travel a lot and like to cook while you're a lot i love it! So cute waffle maker. I recently bought for my daughter and she loves it. Even the children can participate without getting burned. Makes waffles fluffy. Cleaning is easy. The griddle are easy to change.
They had recipes in the booklet for donuts, mind you, they are bite size. We tested out the donut tray first! It worked well except it browned the bottom and not the top and so when we flipped it over the donuts did not fall into the other tray nless we pushed them down. The recipe was great, they were fluffy, and never overflowed. Hubby loved them especially the chocolate ones. It is a neat little waffle/donut/griddle combo.
Well the one I received doesn't work as it's supposed to. The green light never turned on. In the instruction booklet it says to contact their customer service before returning item. When you call customer service it ends up being a full voicemail box. I will be returning the the waffle machine.
Unless you spray the iron after every single waffle, the mix sticks horribly. It doesn't matter if you put oil in the mix. You have to spray oil onto the iron after every single waffle. This creates a horrible mess and the iron is constantly leaking oil out of its crooks and crannies, making a mess in my pantry as well. Super disappointing.
I love the idea of this waffle iron. It's exactly what I needed. And it's pink! Unfortunately the latch that holds the plates releases almost every time the waffle iron is closed. Then when I try to open it I find the top of the food did not cook like the bottom because it wasn't right next to the heating element since it had fallen. It made a mess trying to get food out of it after peeling the top plate off of it. I'd rather pay a little more and have a better product.
It's very small for my kitchen uses, but its nicely made. I think it more for children, who is just starting out cooking. Now, I can make small donut instead of holes.
The inserts were cheaply made. The non-stick was chipping after first wash. The appliance felt cheap nothing substantial about it. . It started to discolor right away. on the third use it just stopped working. very disappointed. I used it twice and it looks worn and burnt. Even worse I didnt get full refund because half was paid by by promo. The could have at least credited the promo some how. I rarely have complaints about Walmart. This was a fail from the start. The appliance was sub-par and the CSR was as well. i dont shop anywhere but Walmart. They are the best in my opinion. I will continue to shop there.
Heats in 5 minutes or less. But it takes 12-15 minutes to cook a chaffle. should take 3-5 minutes. and its not hot enough to melt butter when it comes out
