A great trip, that I enjoyed taking again after so
I purchased this DVD because I recently watched the “Around the World in 80 days” series , starring David Tennent, and enjoyed that, but his portrayal of Phileas Fogg was displaying different character traits than I recalled from the movie of my childhood. The David Niven version was as enjoyable as I remembered it. Their character traits were different, but each of these two versions were good, and well worth the watch! The film is family friendly, humorous, and the actors did a great job.

Great for nostalgia fans
This is a great 2 disc set for fans of this film, and for all fans of good old time movies. Has the original full length version in widescreen, plus a narrated version which is very informative. It was a great trip down memory lane for me, saw it in the theater when I was 9 years old ! Extra features are good too.

Desireable video
This movie should be viewed by young and old. No vulgarity, profanity; beautiful scenary, at least 50 movie star cameo appearances; not even close to trashy movies full of violence. Obviously, since there are many remakes, this is the best.

Excellent old-time movie
It's really long but remarkable movie wih GREAT actors, epecially one who played Paspartu. I enjoy every minute of it!
