I love that its compact compared to our previous issues with the bigger one. The water tastes 10x better with it.
filters our water very well. simple to use!
it is easy to use and works great
This was a replacement because my other Cleara Water Filter system began to leak and the cartridge filter would always slip off into the water. The design on this one was better, with a locking valve where the filter cartridge fits on to the spigot/spout. I expected it to be the same size but the container was holds only 20 cups instead of the 40 cups that my old one holds.
thin and fits easily into fridge. there is of course the problem of water coming out slowly when the top is on, but loosing the lid easily fixes that problem.
This is our third one of these. The first one was replaced by WM as it leaked after a couple of months. The last one lasted a good 16 months. We still have x3 filters left so wanted the same model. It fits neatly into the fridge and is big enough to last us the day (4 people) without re-filling. We might look for a different model if it starts leaking to soon.
I could not believe how small it is. "Shrinkflation"? The one I'm replacing is 2 1/2 gallons. This one looks like a toy! i literally laughed when I pulled it from the box. But its my own fault for not reading the specs well enough. The price was similar to what i paid for my original container, so i picked it. I'm sure I'll be happy with the product. I'll just have to fill it more often.
The filter will not stay in. The filter keeps popping out. The slip lock are. A bad design and the filter will not stay in the locking slots. The pitcher is great minus the filter which is not ideal
This item is obviously very cheap. I didn't have high expectations due to the low price, however they could be clearer about when you remove the plastic from the filter be very careful not to remove the tape that holds the filter to the spigot. Unfortunately the tape is also on the plastic that has to be removed and as you're removing it some of the tape may also come off like happened to mine and then the filter ends up just floating no longer attached to the spigot. The bigger issue with mine, and why I returned it, is because I purchased as a Walmart pickup order and didn't check the order as they were putting it in my car and when I got home discovered that the lid that screws on the top is completely missing. I really don't want the water open to stuff falling in it in the fridge so I can cover it with foil, but it's ridiculous that neither the picker nor the loader would have noticed this 2-in gaping hole with threads on it that clearly was missing a lid. very disappointed.
Well once again, I found out, you get what you pay for ! The spigot works great sometimes and not at all others, also the fill cap leaks if you store the container on its side. But, so far the filter is staying in place and not coming loose like others have said ( :
