[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the hammer stapler to secure baffles and insulation. The tool worked perfectly as I expect from an Arrow product. I remember using an arrow stapler when I was a young boy working with my grandfather, a master Carpenter. All of his stapler were arrow products.
Had a few beers, maybe some vodkas and a topper of wine. Got the urge to start the insulation for the newly finished garage. Got this stapler to make the job a bit easier. Was holding the vapour barrier up with lefty. Hammer tack in righty. Put a little too much gravy on the fries, missed the twobyfour, righty kept going, losses the footin' a bit. Drove a 3/8 T50 through the leggin' into the the left leggy. Slipped on some sawdust and bunk'd my head on the exposed wall. Clean drive in, pair of pliers pulled out the staple np. Solid build quality.
This is the second time I've bought this hammer tacker after my ex-wife sold my first one during the divorce. Honestly, losing the marriage hurt less than losing the original HT55. Reliable, durable, and apparently more loyal than some people. Would buy again… and apparently did.
As someone who is inexperienced with this type of stapler, it does have a slight learning curve. Once you get the hang of it though, it's awesome! Highly recommend!! Code:1117
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a side job. I really didn't want to have to buy a tool for. This was a game changer and made all the difference in speed and quality on this job,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great hammer stapler, but was very stiff when first using staples and had to spray WD40 so it wouldn't jam up. The finger guard does impede some when swinging. Overall it's very reliable and would purchase again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought the this and used for then1st time at work today. Works great. Easy to open and close when loading more staples. Only issue is the design. Would be nice to have the striker offset to the handle instead of level with the handle. Alsona little more lightweight. Overall great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one of these a year or so ago, it was great only problem was it just simply wore out I'm not sure what went wrong with it but stapler stopped functioning. I'm a contractor so not super easy on things. But I liked it enough that I just bought another one so they are nice tools when they work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for stapling 6mil plastic sheeting vapor barrier over exposed pine ceiling in an attic before blowing insulation on top. Very helpful for reaching into tight areas near eaves and quickly securing a large area. My only complaint was that even with short 1/4" Arrow staples, many did not set flush or didn't stick at all. So perhaps it required more strike force than other models I've borrowed in the past. For the loose ones, I flipped the stapler over and used the top for light tapping of the staples to flush.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the tool for use with laying carpet matting. The stapler consistently locked up and need to be released by hand. Not the best tool. I would not purchase this item again. When it was working right it was fantastic
