I tried to staple vinyl with the smaller model and had to return it because it would jam every other staple. This one drives the staple in all the way every single time. Has a nice grip and a sturdy tool. The bag makes it nice to keep the tool and staples together.
More power than I expected. Very affordable and sturdy. Same price as a stapler I got the craft store which did not last. With this staple gun, I was reupholstered my ottoman and barstools.
Made the right decision in this purchase. All previous electric staplers used a solenoid delivery system. Not every staple went in all the way. The new delivery system in this Arrow stapler uses a rotary drive that consistently delivers the drive force needed to plant every staple all the way into the material every time. It is also great at driving the brad nails specified as compatible to this stapler. LED light illuminates the area where you are driving in the staple with a safety switch to ensure that you have the stapler positioned correctly. Has never jammed even when loading partial clips of staples. Best choice I could have made in an electric stapler.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this model because I needed a stapler that penetrate several layers of fabric with various hard wood backings. The T50AC worked great and sank 1/2” staples completely flush in seasoned oak with no trouble. I would definitely recommend this stapler for your most difficult jobs.
I finally use my stapler in a project. a little tricky. u have to make sure u have it flat and the middle part is exactly flat or it doesn't shoot the staple. I was putting up a wire trellis, and it was difficult to use. But over all so much easier than my old stapler. it even has a light that goes on as it staples.
Overall this tool is pretty easy, as with any tool there is a learning curve for the fabric or project you are working on but for the most part pretty easy.
Yes, the cord may be stiff but it does not bother me. User has to make sure to press hard against the surface to be nailed/stapled to get the nail/staple in. This is for DIY type, not professional due to its limited range of nails/staples that can be loaded.
This is a pretty good stapler. I bought it for putting screening up on the eves. My husband is 75 and his arm got quite tiered holding it above his head. He had some trouble in places trying to get it flat to screen as it won't work if not touching. Over all it's a pretty good stapler. Haven't tried the brad nails yet.
I ordered the Arrow T50AC Stapler/Nailer. Wrong model (Arrow T50 ACD Stapler) was delivered, and the items manufacture package had been opened and retaped like a return item would have been. Needed item for a special project and since wrong item was delivered after delivery delays, I was unable to complete project on time.
The green Power light blinks all the time, telling me I'm low on staples/brads, even though the device has a full load of 18 Gauge 5/8" brads. After loading the cartridge with brads and closing/locking the cartridge, I can hear the brads sliding up and down when I move the device. When I pull the trigger, the device SOUNDS like it's working, but no brad ends up in the wood. Two calls to Arrow support (must leave msg; I guess no one's there) have not been returned. Very disappointed. I'd like to exchange the device for a working device; not sure of the procedure, since this was an online purchase. Suggestions, anyone?
