I tried to staple vinyl with the smaller model and had to return it because it would jam every other staple. This one drives the staple in all the way every single time. Has a nice grip and a sturdy tool. The bag makes it nice to keep the tool and staples together.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great I am reupholstering 4 chairs in my lanai and it so easy and comfortable to use, I would highly recommend it to anyone. I am glad that I bought it over other to choose from. The size was great and easy to put the staples in as well.It also had great features.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The power shot T50ACD was very helpful my cats began to scratch the table legs and started damaging them then I decided to wrap them with rope, I used 12mm staples since I wanted to be well adjusted, it was easy to use it with good grip a depth of staples. the T50ACD is light and very powerful and very good quality design. I am very satisfied wit the result.
There seems to be an evolutionary process to owning staple guns. It starts with a regular household / office stapler - then one day that is no longer good enough. Next up the evolutionary chain is the heavy duty stapler - then one day that is no longer good enough. So it's on to the professional but still manual model - then one day that is no longer good enough either. And, finally, that evolutionary step to an electrically powered, professional quality stapler. The equivalent of standing upright maybe! The Arrow T50AC is comfortable to hold and to use and the built in safety device prevents accidentally firing off staples or nails. The safety trigger has to be pushed against the material to be fastened to allow the tool to fire the fixing. It cycles very quickly and so it is always ready to fire off the next fixing. There is a pair of LED lights which light up the area to be fastened when the trigger is activated. I did not find them particularly useful but I may change my mind in less well-lit environments. The low staple indicator is handy to have and refilling the magazine is easy and straight forward. The T50 staples are readily available and competitively priced. They come in a range of sizes from ¼” to 9/16” and the tool accepts 18GA Brad nails. This tool came with a free case made of a ballistics type material with a medium duty zip fastener. There is also a card included advertising a free staple puller for writing a review on Arrow's site. The tool has a one year warranty.
Just in the first day of use we've finished a dining room set and two large chairs with ease, it's impressive that something electric powered can be this strong. It could quite possibly beat out our older Arrow Pneumatic stapler.
Overall this tool is pretty easy, as with any tool there is a learning curve for the fabric or project you are working on but for the most part pretty easy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this wonderful Arrow stapler today for Christmas. Unfortunately the lock catch mechanism is made from plastic and it seems to have been broken in the assembly process missing a significant amount of the corner. I'm going to use it a few times and see if it holds up. Are products are generally top-quality and I would have like to seen this made out of a better quality material possibly aluminum. I'll probably end up returning it for another one.
I ordered the Arrow T50AC Stapler/Nailer. Wrong model (Arrow T50 ACD Stapler) was delivered, and the items manufacture package had been opened and retaped like a return item would have been. Needed item for a special project and since wrong item was delivered after delivery delays, I was unable to complete project on time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice heavy duty stapler that is a pain to use! We opened this one up and loaded it with staples and it wouldn't slide shut! So I put in half the staples and it would jam but finally shut. We started stapling up insulation and then it started to jam! Messed with it for a little and cleared some staples and loaded it up again, and the same thing happened! So now we're back to the old way of doing it with a powerless staple gun! Horrible design in way you load the staples and shut it. Sometimes it doesn't clip completely.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My out-of-the-box T50AC stapler using same brand T50 5/16" staples refuses to consistently fire through standard 1" upholstery foam. Not only is it inconsistent, its inconsistency makes it hard to aim precisely. It's design also made it impossible to fire in tighter spaces because the firing mechanism failed to operate. While when it did fire it typically was successful occasionally the staples failed to hold. If this is how this product works with thinner fabric and I don't hear anything from Arrow I'm likely to return the stapler.
