Arrow T50DCD Cordless 16 G 3/8" Staple Gun

Wil make it easier at Christmas using this for some of our decorations.

My husband bought this staple gun for me so I could reupholster the cushions on my dining room chairs. I have small, weak hands; yet I was able to complete the project on my own. This gun is lightweight, easy to press the trigger, and easily inserts the staples exactly where I want them

Purchased mainly for posting documents and posters. Since developing arthritis in my right hand it has become difficult to squeeze the handle on a conventional stapler. The T50DCD is easy to use and delivers a firmly placed staple each time. This stapler feels and is very solid.

Once the battery was charged and staples loaded, I reupholstered six dining room chairs with new fabric. The stapler worked flawlessly except when I tried to put staples through too many layers of fabric. I will use this outdoors to staple chicken wire to wooden stakes to keep the deer away from newly planted trees. I recommend this product.

I am not strong enough to use a standard stapler and I didn't have to apply hardly any pressure at all. Suggest doing some test stapling first before using it on wires so you get the pressure right or you'll staple through the wire

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two weeks ago and its a strong machine. Just stapled the chair net in the dining chair seats(6 nos) and it was so quick. Just use T50 staples and you are in business. This machine has 1 meter power cord and an on off switch plus a trigger and press and hold safety switch. I recommend this machine for all upholstery work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Staple loading was a little confusing to start. The manual text and drawings were so small that I couldn't decipher the loading process immediately. The first time I tried to use it, it wouldn't activate. I was trying to staple soft material to a hard surface. Apparently, the safety pin on the nose of the unit was not depressed enough due the soft material. This seems like a pretty big shortcoming because you often need to staple carpeting, material, etc to a hard surface. Safeties are a mixed blessing. It may have been better to incorporate a manual safety or incorporate it into the trigger somehow. After working through these issues, I found the gun to be very consistent and reliable.

When I tried to recharage it the red light kept blinking which the manual says means that the battery is gone, BUT I HAVE LOOKED HIAGH AND LOW AND CAN'T FIND A REPLACEMENT BATTERY. IT APPEARS THAT YOU MAY NOT PROVIDE THEM AND EXPECT PEOPLE TO BUY ANOTHER COMPLETE STAPLER WHEN THIS HAPPENS. IF SO, I REGARD THAT AS A RIPOFF WHICH IS ALSO ENVIRONMENTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE.
