Bought this staple gun to tack up cords from under cabinet lights. Worked great for this purpose. Handle a little hard to squeeze.

Took awhile to write this review....like 50 years! I was using my T-55 staple gun (originally bought by my dad in the 60s or 70s I think), and marveling that it still works perfectly after all these years. I can't even think of how many thousands of staples it's shot over the years. It's also a nice memory of my dad (who died in 1988) and one of the few tools of his I still have.

The staple gun did not perform as expected. The Wire clip on the back came off immediately after opening the package. I loaded 1/2 inch staples and the gun would not drive them cleanly into wood flooring. About once each five uses, there were several seconds delay between squeezing the handle and driving the staple. I was disappointed as I have purchased several staplers in the past and they performed well.
