Arrow: The Complete Fifth Season S5 (DVD) [DVD]

My season would not play, I knew Walmart would have one.

I would like to thank the provider of the Arrow:The complete Fifth Season for sending this title. It was in great condition and wrapped securely. All discs play great and I enjoyed hours of watching this show. So thanks again and keep up the good work.

great series very well done. They could have used fewer flash backs those get a little old but all in all a very good plot and cast..

I gave this one star for the production aspects, and in no way does that reflect the quality of the actual product. In other words, five stars for the product itself, and one star (which is being generous) for the banquet of baloney handling of the storyline. This is the season where the series falls apart. Unless you have been consistently watching ALL of the other WB DC series (Flash, Legion of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Birds of Prey, Joe Bagodonuts, etc etc etc) You will miss out on numerous plot lines and many episodes just make no sense as a result. All you will get for an explanation is 30 seconds of "Here's what you missed if you didn't see Flash/LoT/Supergirl/BoP/etc etc etc" which in no way is an explanation. The next thing you know you see John Diggle's daughter Sara (named after Sara Lance/first Black Canary) is now a son named John Jr. and it never gets explained. It might be nicer if they at least let you know at the end of an episode WHICH SERIES YOU SHOULD PICK UP ON TO CONTINUE THE STORY, but that's too much to ask because subtitles are really tough to do on a DVD. </sarcasm> That's just the tip of the iceberg. I don't have enough time to watch all that stuff let alone figure out what order to watch it in, whether I stream it or buy the DVDs . . . so this is where I stopped watching Arrow, Since it is a perfect indication of WB's handling of DC television series it will also be my final endeavor with these TV franchises.
