Great movie and purchase
Finally a UHD 4K treatment for this great Arthurian story which originally released in 1981. If you like the story/genre and have the equipment to take advantage of UHD 4K (player and TV) this is a good buy. Plus Walmart's price and delivery time was better than the publisher's pre-order offering. Though one thing to be aware of with this item, the publisher chose to faithfully retain the Director's aspect ratio choice of 1.66:1, so the image appears full screen except for very narrow black letterbox bars on both sides. In case you get it and wonder if there's an incorrect setting on your display.

Even at around $40 this is a bargain
Made in the early 80s, this movie is unmatched in its portrayal of the Arthurian legend. And it does it covering decades in a grand sweeping way no one else has come close to matching. Boorman directs a near perfect cast of characters most of us have heard of but have never seen performed so well. And it's never looked so utterly beautiful. And the extras? I would have paid for this upgrade in film and audio but the extras are almost overwhelming. And the score! It's one of my all times favorites. This is the film that peaked my interest in Excalibur and Arthur and the entire legend. Oh and after watching this do watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Worth the money
If you like the movie, this is worth the purchase. Some people have noted an audio sync issue with this release. I myself did not notice it. This is a movie from the 80's, so keep your expectations in check regarding picture and audio quality. But for what it is, it looks and sounds great!

They don't make them like this anymore.
This is the best this movie has ever looked. Arrow knocked it out of the park with this restoration.

Solid Arrow Video release
Another arrow release! I haven't seen this movie yet but if you like older fantasy movies (80s), then this should be worth checking out!
