Super Amazing

I was excited to find this as I have to be gluten free and have been making my own oat flour for quite a while. I'm very disappointed though that they limit how many you can purchase at a time. Maybe it's because it doesn't stay good as long - ? I would buy a lot more if it wasn't so limited--may have to go back to making my own.

I bought this to add to suet for squirrels and birds. I add quick oats and nuts, peanut butter lard and coconut oil. THEY LOVE IT!! I was going thru 3 suet a day now they are eating 7 suet a day! It has a wonderfully find consistency and Im looking forward to trying it myself.

I was happy to find this on Swanson as I haven't been able to find it in the local stores. It should be cheaper since oats are cheap but I was too glad to find it to complain about the price! :)

It’s great, works perfect I use it for baking. It had disappeared from my supermarket shelf for the last couple months. So happy you carry oat flour.

Great flour! Works well as a coating for meat and works okay in baking recipes but you need to use wheat flour if baking with oat flour. Oat flour cannot be used for baking on its own. I always substitute 1/4 c oat flour for wheat flour in baking recipes. For example, if you need 1 cup of wheat flour for a recipe then substituting 1/4 c oat flour is fine but mixture might turn watery so watch how much you use.

Love this flour but if you have sensitivity to soy like I do, you may have a reaction as it no longer is allergen free. Just enough contamination to cause symptoms for me.
