Sturdier than I thought it would be. Doesn't weigh very much. It could be a little taller or adjust height, for ease of getting up. But its no shorter than other fishing or camping stools. The cooler compartment works great. I love being able to sit down whenever and wherever I get tired or aching while walking/hiking. It makes me less afraid of tackling longer hikes and it will keep me hiking for a good few years yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This combination backpack/stool is a perfect item to have from anything to fishing and hiking to simply taking your kid to the park for a few hours. I love the lightweight canvas fabric as it doesn't add extra weight to carry around but you can tell just by touch that it'll withstand a ton of wear and tear. I took this with me on an outing to the park with my soon to be toddler. Packed it with snacks and drinks/formula for us both and the cooler portion of the backpack kept them cool. Then I was able to use it as a stool to sit on to prep for snack time. Our family loves to take outdoor trips when the weather warms up and my husband loves to fish so I can't wait to use it for those outings as well!

Not only is it perfect to sit on but it gives you the option to either attach or detach the backpack /insulated cooler underneath!! So you can use them together or separate whichever you prefer!! It has plenty of pockets for anything you need to carry with you , and its extremely lightweight so no hassle carrying it uphill or if you tend to walk a long ways with it , you won't even realize your carrying it !! Also everything fits in the drawstring bag that it comes with , so its giving you another carrying option as well !! This is the neatest thing ever and so so handy!! Especially for camping or fishing/hunting !! But you can also use it for other options as well, like ballgames, practices, etc !! It's perfect for anything and just the right size for you to carry it along without any hassle!!

The stool is sturdy and comfortable. So convenient to have a cooler built into your stool. The cooler is awesome! Near features like an outside pocket for dry items and then the main cooler. Great for fishing, hunting and outdoor sporting events!
