Arteza has a very good reputation in the art community. Please, note that these are not markers; these are brush pens that you can fill with water and the appropriate color. There are different brush sizes to accommodate different styles and techniques. Recommended.
I have not used these long but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them so far. They are so much easier to squeeze and control the water amount than the kind with stiffer barrels. And they are so quick, easy and convenient to use at odd times or odd places that I can't with traditional dip brushes, even in bed when I am not feeling well. I love using them with tempera sticks, gel sticks, watercolor markers, etc. no time consuming set up or clean up. I also enjoy that this set has more variety of brush styles and sizes than most other sets I have seen. It would be absolutely amazing if they made even more styles and larger sizes.
As described and promptly shipped. Recommend.
Larger and more sturdy that expected. Very pleased with the product.
Im so glad I bought theses they work well
Exactly what I wanted. Fast shipping
I use these with both water color pencils and potted water color paint. There's no mess, no leakage & easy clean up. If traveling you can leave the tip damp & place cap on & give a good cleaning when you arrive where you're going. I keep a paper towel close by and I squeeze the barrel where it says push until I get a drop of water out. I then use the paper towel to get the excess water. Once the brush is wet enough to suit me I proceed to paint. To clean between colors I keep a small cup of water & after wiping off the excess pigment on the paper towel I swish the brush in the water cup until clean. If a cup isn't practical at the time you can keep squeezing drops of water & wipe on the paper towel until the brush wipes clear. I'm a coloring enthusiast in my house & my 3 grandchildren love to paint both at home & traveling. These are perfect with the water color pencils & I don't have a mess afterwards. They also hold enough water that I don't have to stop & keep filling them up. They seem to have a slight flow rate just enough to keep the brush damp but not saturated while in use. But you can always just squeeze again if you need the brush to be damper. Very easy to fill up. They are a great price too.
