Little Engine that Could!

mmcw November 26, 2017

This mixer is amazing and can do everything you need it to do! Even though it is listed as a "Mini" it has been able to hold everything that I have made. Works great for making homemade bread dough and cookies. Due to its petite size, it is perfect for an apartment or smaller-sized kitchen. I love the hot sauce red color, and it is the perfect addition to any kitchen collection! I received this product at discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

Great little mixer

JohnnyDollar April 4, 2020

Great little mixer. Mixer will fit in small places that a bigger mixer will not. You can tell it is a quality machine just by looking at it. This mixer does what it is advetizied to do.

Great product

It's perfect !!! I've be searching for a mixer that's small but powerful for my kitchen. I'm actually using it everyday!! It's really pretty to look at. Also the original size attachments work with it ! Brilliant!

Kitchen aide mixer

Tamiv1 May 3, 2020

I love this kitchen aide mixer. It does so much! I have made bread, icing, cake mixes and cookie mixes. I like how easy it is to make bread dough with this machine.

Attachments are awesome

Corgi Girl March 6, 2018

I've had my mini for several months now. I wanted to buy a KitchenAid mixer primarily for the spiralizer & sheet cutting attachments. I found them a bit tricky to master, but I love them. I struggled over whether to buy the mini or the regular size mixer as I rarely bake and we are only a 2 person household. Based upon reviews, I settled on the mini. It would take up less space on the counter & function fine for my small household usage. For those with the same questions, I'd just like them to know that I wish I'd bought the full size model now. The gap between where you can add ingredients to the bowl is so tight. It is almost impossible to add stuff while the mixer is running. I know there is a shoot you can buy to add ingredients, but then that's just another attachment to clean. In the corner where I keep mine, the bigger version would make little difference. The mini is cute, but for function go for the full size!

Perfect size for Small kitchen

lindamh June 10, 2018

always wanted a Kitchenaid and finally splurged on the Artisan Mini on sale - in Hot Sauce color (fun!). Somewhat disappointed. First use: It made my cookies well but the texture was a little different, no big deal. However, to add ingredients, you have to stop and raise the mixing head - there's no room. When you raise it, the dough in/on the whip falls outside the bowl. It's impossible to clear the whip while attached and messy when you try to detach. I agree with others that had I know this, I might have gone for the larger Kitchenaid ... but with the kids grown, why? It is a good machine for my use and I would recommend with several reservations.

Nope. Not good. Very disappointed.

I wanted to downsize because my original full size kitchenaid I always loved was getting too heavy for me. I chose this mini. The size and weight is good and I LOVE the color but when I made bread with it the hook came loose and was damaged. I noticed, when it came, that the paddle/dough hook/whisk attachments don't have a spring on the post when you attach them to the mixer. I thought this was odd but figured because it was smaller the locking spring wasn't necessary. Wrong! I'm VERY disappointed. My daughter bought me the lovely pasta making attachments for mother's day but now I'm having to return the mixer. What's up with that, Kitchenaid? Very poor product. Like I said, I thought it odd the paddle, etc didn't lock on with the spring so I watched a review video. I saw that hers was the same way but she didn't mention it as being a problem and the demonstration went smoothly though she didn't use the dough hook, only the mixing paddle. Was probably a "paid" demonstration. What a pain.

Read past reviews!

Nocookies2day January 24, 2024

I should have listened to the past reviews! I received, what was supposed to be my mixer and attachments today(given one tracking number)but like previous reviews, only the attachments were sent. According to KitchenAid website both were sent. I actually called before I placed the order to make sure both would be available if I ordered. Hopefully I can resolve soon. So disappointing.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

AsianNonna December 17, 2017

I had a 6qt bowl-life pro-line and use almost all the attachments regularly, which made it for me (iI'm 5'2") difficult to reach the top of the attachment level while the mixer sat on the counter. So I was thrilled to learn there was a smaller version and donated my large one in favor of the mini. I'm hugely disappointed for the following reasons: - I can't use my ice cream attachment - the bowl is impossible to remove after mixing dough. I have tried everything, from a warm compress, oil, a mallet, setting it on the floor and using all the strength i have to twist it off to no avail. - the bowl does NOT come with handle which doesn't help especially in light of the above - Can't use many of the attachments while the bowl is in place, and since I can't take the bowl off, this is highly problematic - Definitely lacking in power compared to the other models. This doesn't make a difference for mixing, but I do notice a difference in efficacy when using the Pasta Extruder, Shredder and Food processing attachments It's cute and quieter, however, that doesn't make its shortcomings a worthwhile purchase
