This book was a lifesaver for me when I started making sourdough! She explains everything so simply! I highly recommend this book to anyone thinking about starting sourdough. Even people who have been making sourdough starter for years can find so many great recipes in this book! Great buy!

This book was recommended by a friend who also recommended I check out Walmart to purchase it. Walmart had the best price I could find. The book itself is so well written, the recipes are easy to follow and there are plenty of photos. I'm just beginning my sourdough adventure, and this is the perfect book to get me started!

We are baking great loafs

I haven't gotten a chance to make any of the recipes as I'm still in the beginning stages of making my sourdough starter which is a lengthy process. I feel like the recipes could be organized a little better, but overall I like the book %26 im excited to be able to make my own bread.

This book is great for beginners and intermediate sourdough bakers. The recipes and techniques are easy and well explained in the book. I love the diversity of sourdough recipes which include such bakes as bagels and English muffins. I loved this book so much I gifted one to a family member!

This book is the best sourdough insider scoop I've ever read. Easy to understand, beautiful pictures and covers all topics. It's like I would read something then have a question and in the next paragraph/page, it would answer it! I've made basic sourdough bread for a year before owning this book and this has given me motivation and confidence to try new breads and recipes.

This is a great beginner book. It contains some basic information about sourdough bread making. The recipes are easy to follow with good instructions and tips. I have made several of the recipes and plan on making many more. This book is worth the money.

this is an excellent sourdough cookbook! i tried several basic sourdough bread recipes and as a totally novice sourdough baker, Emilie's recipe was the first I made that came out well! first time and every time. I love the recipes as well as the detailed explanations, photos, and general background information included. amazing unexpected bonus that the book includes meal recipes to complement the sourdough bread!

I love this book! So many great recipes! If you're looking for sourdough recipes and discard reipes the author of this book has some of the absolute best out there! I wish she had even more of her recipes in here. Try her Ultimate Banana Bread recipe...you wont be disappointed!!! The book itself is a solid 5 stars, but I am only giving 4 stars because Walmart doesn't off the option to get this in a spiral type bound book like the "zon" does. The book is great, just get it!

On every right hand page the holes for the spiral binding removes the recipe amounts needed. Making the recipes unusable.
