We had a lot of cherries this year and needed to get them ready for freezing. This device made it go pretty quickly . The only downside is that the pits don't always go all the way through, so you have to watch carefully.

Pretty well built for what it is.

This product was supposed to push the pits out of six cherries at a time. Typically it would push one or two of the pits completely out while the other four still had them dangling or worse yet hiding inside the cherries, and I had to remove them by hand. Instead of making this process go quickly, it took twice as long. The worst part was the fact that we actually have the same item which was purchased years ago, and bought it again to speed things up so two people could remove pits from cherries at the same time. Our other product is the exact same and works fine. I am not sure why the second one does not work as functionally.

It never arrived. Package had a pair of socks instead.
