Great product for Betta Fish

Got this for my granddaughter for Christmas for her Betta. I was skeptical, no instructions came in the box. After watching the YouTube set-up, I decided to give it a whirl. I gotta admit, the thing actually works!!!! I change the water every week - 10 days, and gravity pulls out the old food and waste through the tube. Two tricks I learned: Bettas's do NOT have to be fed daily; I feed her every OTHER day and I only give him what he will eat, no left overs. Second, when changing the water, make sure to keep a small cup under it for a few minutes to ensure no drips. Other than that, I'm considering going out and getting one for my desk at work to "liven" up my area.

Great product! Easy to clean and simple to assemble. So simple and easy to use we have two of these in my dads nursing home room! The only complaint is the battery life on the light is extremely poor.

This is cute and rather easy to clean but not as good as I though, however its way better than what we had before. We replace the water often and its clean again.

I have a Beta fish and the shape of the Fun Fish seem to really agree with her. Much more active and eating better. A great side benefit is I have two cats that spend hours laying nose to nose at the aquarium just mesmerized by the fish. As it has a lid, they finally learned they cannot get to her AND as the lid has feeding holes, it is much easier for me to feed her. Bottom line: it's a great product!

I bought this for my 9 yr. old grand daughter for Christmas and we set it up last night. I gave it a 4 star only because we have not had a chance to change the water yet, but am anticipating to work correctly. She LOVED it! We did buy her pick of gravel to match her room decor and it looks nicer than I thought it would. It does have the LED light in the lid and lights up nicely. The light does run by battery though, not sure how long that will last, so she is conserving. I would recommend it. Just remember it is for cold water fish only, no heater.

A lot of people dont research the type of fish before they purchase tanks or homes for them. Would you like to live in a mini fish bowl or tank. A half gallon is way too small to house fish. Dont buy such small homes for them. Yes, they may live...but do the right thing by them. Get at least a 2.5 gallon home for them.

This is way to small for a betta fish. Do your research before you buy this "tank". This is way to skinny and there is not enough space. Dont buy this go and get at least 2.5 gallons.

Do not keep any fish in this small of a tank. Just because the fish is alive does not mean it is thriving. At least give it a 3 gallon space, minimum! Proper maintenance requires a filter, a heater, a bubble bar, hiding places, etc. This is not the tank for that.
