As Time Goes By: Complete Original Series (DVD)

I purchased the collection as a Mother's Day gift for my wife and she watches at least one episode every night. Walmart had the best price in the area for the dvd collection. Steve

I purchased this for my mother because she and her husband love Judi Dench and all the episodes of "As time goes by". They both love them and are now watching them every night.

A simple, yet heart warming comedy that will make you laugh. Great performances from Judy Dench and Jeffery Palmer. You will think their part of the family.

I am able to enjoy over and over this tv show. Good quality too.

British sitcom. A couple in their late 50's who meet again after being apart for 38 years and fall in love all over again. Very humorous, heartwarming, at times sad but always entertaining. My favorite TV show.

Judi Dench, Geoffrey Palmer and the rest of the cast are delightful, believable, and engaging. The show, written by Bob Larbey (co-writer of The Good Life,) is smart and funny. Each episode is just as good as the last. If you enjoy British comedies, you'll definitely enjoy this series.

The series is outstanding if you appreciate British humor and Judy Dench. The quality of the DVD's is very good and overall we are quite satisfied.

Delivery was prompt and very timely

I loved everything about this British television comedy series. A couple who met during the Korean conflict and promised to write when the young Lieutenant was posted to Korea. She never heard from him and the romance faded while each married another person. They bump into each other 38 years later and now, both are single, and pick up the romance where they left off. My only complaint is that this product is advertised as full screen-wide screen and it is not. It is square screen with nothing on either side of the picture. I felt cheated, as pretty much all television is wide screen today.
