One minor downside is that, like all cardboard scratchers, the material will wear down over time, so replacement panels may be necessary. However, given how much my cat enjoys it, I see it as a worthwhile investment.

The scratcher was super easy to build and the materials are very high quality. The packaging was great too and easy directions. You do have to mount it on a wall, so you'll need to pick a wall space that you don't mind drilling a few holes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super durable cast scratch toy! The design is simple and sleek, giving it a minimalist look. It's designed to attach to the wall, but can also be stood up on the ground. Assembly was easy peasy, aside from a drill for the wall mounting, everything else is included. I have two cats, one has shown no interest, and one has shown mild interest. I have sprinkled with cat nip and placed treats in it to encourage play, but overall they're not too intrigued. I am glad that I didn't attach to the wall immediately, since they're not playing with it yet. Once they do, I'll feel more comfortable permanently attaching it up my walls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] honestly, I couldn't figure out how to assemble this and once I realized exactly what it was I didn't think I really wanted cardboard mounted to my wall anyway luckily for me, my cat didn't seem to mind she started scratching at it while it was still in the box I just let her have the pieces to roll around and scratch on the floor I'm sure it would be better properly assembled but honestly my cat loves it this way and I'm happy with it too

Needless to say first attempt at installing on the wall was terrible, but the quality of the pieces does seem nice. If I can get it on the wall I'm sure my cats will like it.
