Great product

iHerb customer October 5, 2024

Quality of product is high due to pharmaceutical grade VitC ingredient. Minerals in this product balance out the acidity of Vit C. Bioflavonoids important to round out benefits of this product. Perfect balance of ingredients. Like the large size and powdered form. Easy to take.

Great product for daily Vitamin C and minerals with the highest bioavailability. My skin has cleared up since I started taking this powder.

Fizzy

iHerb customer November 25, 2024

Great alternative to carbonated fizzy beverages. As with any form of ascorbate, definitely rinse your mouth afterwards to protect tooth enamel.

Great buffered formulation with bioflavonoids

iHerb Customer September 26, 2023

I love this buffered formulation with bioflavonoids to support immunity, collagen and support overall health. Low acidity, gentle on the stomach (and teeth!) and potent in a small dosage. No sugars or flavourings so when added to water it doesn't taste very interesting, but you can add it to fruit juice or other food/drink if desired. Only 1/4 tsp required for maintenance daily dose. This type of Vitamin C 'buffered with minerals to reduce it's acidity' is best for the body (i.e. stomach, teeth, bones, blood, kidneys, etc) as it supports our alkaline/acid balance. The bioflavanoids help the Vit C work better in the body, so you get more bang for your buck. I recommended this product to my mother when she was getting acid reflux after taking pure ascorbic acid, and within a few days of moving to this Ascorbate Bio-C low acidity product by Nutribiotic my mother's acidity issues resolved and she no longer needed to take antacid stomach medicine. The Nutribiotic sodium ascorbate or calcium ascorbate would be slightly more alkaline if that is what you want, but we like Bio-C because of the added bioflavanoids and it seems to be gentle enough for our family health needs.

Good product but it taste very bad and you have to be careful about the oxydation once the jar opened

Good

iHerb Customer June 28, 2024

Compared to other effervescent vitamins and minerals, this NutriBiotic supplement is effective in maintaining immunity. It's reasonably priced for its size and much cheaper than effervescent tablets. Does not upset the stomach. It's a quality product, but taste can still be improved.

Good

iHerbCustomer January 20, 2024

I began using NutriBiotic for immunity for 2 months and feel it gave me a boost. I was ;lacking in minerals and felt a powdered balance would be absorbed better than a multi mineral capsule/tablet. I recommend this product esp. if you have digestive issues.

Tastes bad and causes constipation

iHerb customer September 6, 2024

my first time buying Vitamin C in powder format. I thought that it would have a citrus fruit flavour as your brain would tell you about any vitamin C supplement. it tastes like rotten yeast or the smell of the famous Chinese Callery pear tree. It also gives me constipation that I had never experienced in my lifetime. This is the opposite of the concept of vitamin C that causes diarrhea. I won't touch this supplement/brand again!!!

Made my gastritis worse

iHerb Customer October 29, 2023

The taste is bearable overtime, especially if you mix it with something sweet. However it caused my gastritis to worsen really quickly and I'd say severely. Nausea, pain, you name it. I tried another buffered vitamin c powder and it didn't do that! At least it doesn't claim to be gentle on the stomach.
