The grate is much heavier & thicker then I imagined. It's huge! I bought it originally to put with my small travel trailer. I think I'll just use it at my house because it's super heavy & large! I don't know if it's something I want to lug around. If you want something more permanent, this is it!

Best thing since sliced bread for cooking on an open fire! Good quality in the construction of the grate! Easy to install and operate. Can cook in bulk for alot of people. Don't have to worry about food always setting above the fire. Can keep things warm after cooking and serve right from the grate. Awesome product!

It worked very well to cook our food over a fire ring, the swivel action is an added bonus to use when adding wood to the fire or keeping food from burning. The grill is very heavy and the only drawback I saw was the basket weave grate warped when it got hot. I would have used solid flat grate steel like on a Weber grill so it wouldn’t warp

The value of this Grill and Spike combo is amazing. The quality of construction is top notch and very heavy duty. The spike alone is solid steel and very sturdy. I highly recommend this unit to friends and family. It is heavy so don't take it backpacking but for the backyard fire pit you can't beat it. Thank you for making such a great product.

This grill is awesome! We go camping with extended family every year and we all have one, its so heavy duty that you can cook with Dutch oven or other pans and still have room for other food on it. I would highly recommend this. Its the best out there yet!

Awesome grill/grate. Very heavy duty. Metal mesh does bend a little due to fire heat, but that is expected. It is one item that everyone sees and wants. Ours held two huge cast iron pans and a dutch oven. I've already bought another for my parents for Christmas.

Not sure yet. Seasoned over a hot wood fire. The grates seemed to weaken and distort slightly. Have been reluctant to use it since it appeared to weaken possibly. I will also add, if you need to lower or raise it during use it’s not really possible unless you have some sort of heat proof gloves or mittens it takes both hands. So in summary as of right now I would not buy another or recommend for a friend. Honestly I’ve not used the grill at all but the pointed stake works great for getting holes done for led camp lights and tiki torch poles!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
