[Employee of pfister] my whole house is equipped with Pfister products, loving them!! I have Kenzo in my master bath, Carengie and Ashfield in the guest bath, all working great, got a lot of compliments from people
We have had the product for a couple of years and it has always worked just as it is supposed to. Pfister has provide excellent after market support/warranty. We had to replaced the spray head, contacted Pfister, and within a couple of day we had a brand new replacement head...no charge. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We bought this rustic bronze faucet for our cabin. It's beautiful and has just the right rustic, yet modern, look for our cabin with knotty pine interior. We love the pull down feature for spraying, overall ease of use, and matching soap dispenser. Our only issue with the faucet was the low water pressure. We sent an email to Pfister and let them know the problem and they immediately sent us a new cartridge. Once we (easily) replaced that piece, it solved the problem and we love the faucet. About 3 months ago, our old faucet handle finally broke. Water is tough here in AZ, and it gave up the ghost. Definitely the hardest part of the process was getting under the sink and removing the old faucet. Water had dripped down and it was very rusted. After that was completed, the new install was nice and easy. For the first week, my wife would pop by the sink and turn it on just to see how nice it was. I installed this a few months ago to replace another faucet that was too difficult to re-install after a plumbing adventure. Because of my frustration with the previous faucet, I noted that this one was very easy to install, about 20 minutes (I'm a homeowner, not terribly experienced). I liked that is flexible to 1-4 hole sinks, because I plan to replace my sink sometime soon. The finish looks great and I've had no problems thus far.
I have had two issues with this product. First, the soap dispenser stopped working. I did receive another one but now it has failed. Secondly, the cartridge in the faucet dripped. I called and they did send a replacement at no cost which was appreciated I have not yet pursued the soap dispenser issue yet but plan to within the next couple of days. I have generally been pleased with the product.
We purchased and installed the Ashfield faucet and within a year noted that a finish blemish was starting on the spray head and at the base. We noted that Pfister claimed a lifetime warranty, so called and filed a claim. The customer service agent was very helpful and professional and in no time a replacement faucet was sent. Not only is this a great product, but Pfister is a rare company who honors their warranty without hesitation.
I have had this faucet for 8+ years and while it has worked well, with the hard water in my area, the oil rubbed bronze finish is not the best choice due to the residue left from the water. I've also had to replace the soap dispenser pump several times. When I last replaced the cartridge, I can no longer get the plastic trim piece between the handle and the faucet to stay in place. The pull down faucet head is convenient but the hose underneath the sink has a tendency to hang up on the plumbing and preventing the head from seating back onto the neck. When it comes time to purchase a replacement I would get a different finish that is easier to maintain. It would be nice if plumbing appliance manufacturers could design products that can tolerate water!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of pfister] Had faucet for almost three years. I too have had to replace the soap dispenser and the sprayer 3 times. The company was great at replacing the parts at no charge. It's just a little frustration to have such an expensive and elegant product of which you never know when it's going to break. Everyday is a wait and see. I do however have high marks for the company. They've sent replacements immediately. Not sure if I would recommend this style to anyone. I do however recommend the company.
Pfister gave me this faucet for a replacement. I bought a Pfister kithen faucet when I remodeled my kitchen 10 years ago. I had alot of problems with the original faucet, had to replace 4 to 5 catridges, which Pfister sent me free. The last time the faucet started leaking I called Pfister and they offered to replace the faucet for free, and I got to pick between several different models. I LOVE their customer service.
