Amazing starter banjo. Shipped to me fast. The box did have some tears in it but luckily the case kept it safe. Tuned it up and I'm very happy with the quality

Overall, likely a good budget choice.
Just got it tuned up. Sounds pretty good. The fourth string tuning seems a little loose. Pretty instrument--beautiful wood neck, rim and resonator. A few cosmetic flaws--some scratches on the tone ring and the finish on the dark brown fingerboard has cloudy white areas. Very nice padded case and extras, including full set of replacement strings, tools and a chord chart.
