Great Value for Price! This particular model Always Does the Job Efficiently and Effectively! During mosquito season, this Device keeps me from Suffering from Mosquitoes and Flies and All types of Bugs! It Works! Easy to Use- just Plug In. Comes with Extra Lights when need to replace (about 6/9 months of continuous use.) Be Careful When Changing- Always Unplug!!! Easy Clean Up Tray. Always Unplug when Taking Out Tray and/Or Remove Bugs! Read the Instructions and Warning about Electricity- Always Unplug when Touching! This Device keeps Our House Free of Mosquitoes and Flies! Highly Recommend!
Great value for the money. Bought two, one for the main house, one for our ranch manager. We get LOTS of stinkbugs in the houses. They can grow to 1.5 inches or so. We were advised against a zapper as “they explode and the whole house stinks” They do and it doesn't. I'd prefer a bit more solid construction, but they're fine for our indoor use.
The best bug zapper I have used. I bought another one that looked just like this one but was another brand and cost less. However, it did not work like this one. So, I bought another one of the Aspectek. The extra bulbs are a plus. I definitely recommend this bug zapper. It zaps all kinds of bugs.
I have a lot a house plant. Well you know if you have plants in your house you have fungus gnats. I didn't want to use pesticides. So I bought this zapper. It works great. Less than 5 minutes of plugging it in and zap. I smile every time I hear it. Another little bugger gone.
I just replanted my lucky bamboo, and the soil was contaminated with gnats. My house is infested with them. I just turned the zapper on for the first time, and within 5 minutes, I started to hear the zapper. So satisfying! I feel bad for the gnats, but I can't stand these creatures flying around during my meetings.
Even my picky dog loves these and I've never been able to get him to eat dental chews of any kind before.
The product is easy to set up. It works but many bugs seem to ignore it. Although not said, when the bugs are zapped, the corpse can flip around the unit. So cleaning up around the unit regularly is advised.
After using for less then a week one of the bulbs went out. Luckily it comes with two extra bulbs or my rating would be lower. It also has a very loud zap, I don't really mind but it scares everyone else in the household. As far as effectiveness, I guess that I'd rate it 8/10. It definitely attracted flies but gnats not as well.
I have one of these indoor bug zappers to zap flies, gnats, mosquitos and other flying insects and it has done the job for the two years I've owned it. I decided to buy another one for another part of my house. There are more mosquitos this year because of the increased humidity. The new unit arrived on time and was well packed and in apparently good condition. However one of the two bulbs did not light up. I opened the unit per the instructions and switched the bulbs around, but the top bulb still did not work. This told me both bulbs were good, so the top bulb socket was defective. I am returning the unit to Walmart for a refund and will order another and see if it works like it should.
The top (of two) lights would not turn on. Replaced immediately with given replacement bulbs. Would still not turn on. Then, the unit would not turn off when the on / off switch was pushed. Completely faulty and dangerous. Returning immediately 20 minutes after receiving.
