If you love Same Elliott then you will love this!
I watched this movie when I was young with my mother. I remember my mother and I rushing to the TV each night it was on because it was on for three nights. I miss the miniseries from years gone by. Anyways, I was thrilled to see Walmart carried this DVD because it brought back memories of watching it with my mother and enjoying the view of Sam Elliott, lol! It seems sort of cheesy at first...but once you get into the storyline you don't notice it. If your a Sam Elliott fan you will enjoy this! He is soooo fine! I believe this was filmed in 1977. It will remind you of Dynasty, Dallas, Love Boat, etc., those type of great classics. It didn't end the way I remembered; however, I was a "tween" then. The movie brought back great memories of spending time with my mother.

Good flick
It is an exciting movie with lots of good actors and beautiful scenery, I would definitely recommend it to all movie watchers.

Do not waste your money.
I love Sam Elliott but this series was a total waste of money. It was boring, dragged on forever and the script wasn't well written.
