We have a Labrador Retriever which requires a large kennel. The extra-large size was the perfect fit. Dog can stand up, turn around, and lay down easily without looking confined. Sturdy construction, easy to put together. Good price. Very pleased with purchase.
More than enough room for my 55lb dog to turn around and lay down and fits perfectly into my living room. Arrived 4 days earlier than estimated. Very pleased.
This crate is perfect for my 62 pound "puppy" it has a soft molded plastic bottom so it is comfortable for him without a mat and cool for the summer. It cleans very easily. I have not had to use the divider because he is such a big puppy but love the crate. He even goes in there with the door wide open he loves it so much.
This was a great dog crate. It was very easy to set up. Has a cleaning tray on the bottom which make very easy to clean in case of an accident. We used it on for the puppy and now he doesn't need it. So now we bought some baby hens and we can clip on a heat lamp and put wood shavings and we are good to go. So yes it has been a great purchase and at a great price also.
I bought this a little over a month ago and it's perfect, exactly as described. Other reviews had mentioned the 'cheap-ness' of the plastic tray and I have to agree.... But for the price of the kennel (HALF of anywhere else), the plastic tray being a little weak doesn't matter! We all put beds/blankets down for our pups anyway. Great product overall, easy door locks. Would definitely recommend it.
The online description is inaccurate. It states that the kennel is 42" high. This is actually a measurement of the floor/base. This is important to know when purchasing a kennel since you might want your (big) dog to be able to SIT comfortably in the kennel and 31 inches for a big dog is marginally enough for SOME breeds. Otherwise, this kennel is very competitive in both value and quality with others I've seen.
We did a lot of searching before purchasing this kennel. Not only was it one of the cheaper ones we found, but it's quality was on par with the higher end brands. Only real issue we had is it said for labs but our Labrador seemed a little too lengthy in the legs so we had to eventually switch him to the next size up.
The cage is extra large, even though our house isn't we still found room. The divider door is easy to adjust as the puppy grows and the crate is an excellent housetraining tool. The bottom is easy to wipe clean if food/water spills, and the whole thing folds flat for easy transport if required. My only issue is the bottom of the cage door opening is raised slightly (to meet the door) and my puppy sometimes stumbles on it and/or stubs her toes.
I bought two of these for my two Rottweilers. I noticed that one of the plastic trays started to crack right on the letters that are on it. It finally split. I quickly found out that you CANNOT buy a replacement tray. A couple of weeks later and I am now seeing the same crack forming in the exact place as the first one! Very disappointed as I didn't exactly "cheap out".
I have had this for only about 6 months, and I am absolutely furious about this product. I have a 1 year old, very well trained golden doodle. She is a very calm dog who does not destroy things EVER. Just from carrying this product around, closing it for storage, travelling, etc, all of the paint is removed. The door continuously gets jammed behind the bottom and top sides of crate to the point I had to open from back as if I were folding it up just to get my dog out. I would not recommend this product to anybody. I usually buy great products for my dog even though they cost more, and this crate being over $100 is terrible value!!
