Perfect Purchase Experience!

MisterCheese October 23, 2025

Everything about this order was excellent from start to finish. The shipping was fast, the packaging was secure, and the game arrived in perfect condition — brand new and sealed just as described. The gameplay itself has been fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with the overall experience. Walmart handled the order efficiently, and the product quality speaks for itself. I definitely recommend this product!

Gift for Hubby

Arlisa December 1, 2023

I can't say I really like it because I bought this game for my husband for Christmas. But he has played previous Assassin Creed games in the past. So there is no doubt I know he will like this one.

Best AC game for many years

Gary November 14, 2023

A return to actual stealth and assassination instead of the endless bludgeoning of the previous 3 entries. Which is very welcome.

Great game

Jennifer February 14, 2024

Great game! Gorgeous, great fighting mechanics, easy to pick up even for people that haven't played it before. Do NOT listen to the negative feedback as most are inaccurate, haven't played the game or need to sharpen their playing ability. People complain that it's too short but honestly if you do everything in it, you can get 100 hours in it.

All Time Favorites

Louie December 6, 2023

I am a huge fan of the Assassins Creed franchise and this is another great one. I started playing this right after I finished AC Odyssey which is in my Top Three Favorite Games of all time. Just started playing Mirage this week so still learning the nuances but am loving it so far!

Ordered online for shipping. Arrived in a timely manner in perfect condition. It's a Christmas gift so I can't really rate the gameplay, but I'm sure my son will love it

Worth Adding to Your Collection!

Mac0384 December 1, 2023

Very fun game, just the right length. If you enjoyed the previous Assasin's Creed games, you'll probably enjoy this one as well and the call backs to Prince of Persia are a nice touch.

Phoned-in reboot of AC 1

WalmartOnlineLOL March 15, 2024

While it's wholly unexplained, you're back in the Animus and will “desynchronize” when killed or out of bounds. The educational references are completely forced and unnatural, particularly historical sites that, for the most part, aren't actually landmarks but just random map locations revealing trivia: wow, they dyed fabric. Gameplay is a tad smoother than AC1 when it comes to accidentally Velcro-ing to things, but the parkour is still a generation behind the Mirror's Edge franchise. You can't ascend simple obstacles but can accomplish physically impossible back jumps with ease. Fortunately, there's only one chase the floating paper sidequest. Fighting is so slow and clumsy it almost feels turn-based. The one-way-only puzzles defy common sense. The wanted system is totally out of whack. Most of the city gates are inexplicably restricted areas (to you not to anyone else). The city walls are also restricted, but you can simply fast-travel everywhere. Killing civilians is against the rules, but enraging guards to kill them is fine (and stealing is actually required). Civilians across the plaza looking away will catch you and raise your wanted status, but alerted guards rarely notice you've killed their parter that was just standing next to them. Your last-known-position shadow defies reason and line of sight. The game is short, 5X shorter than Valhalla. It's been called DLC sold as a full game. I think there's a story buried somewhere, but it disappears after the prologue, and you can't empathize with any of characters enough to care. Pretty sure it had something to do with (insert Giorgio A Tsoukalos) “aliens”. Anyway by the time you finish the second prologue and get into pseudo-sandbox mode, you've stopped caring and the unrelated conspiracy web of the main story quests takes over. Eventually, the first prologue continues as a sidequest granting supposedly epic loot (that you no longer need) which turns out pretty anticlimactic. If you want to kill a few hours with an Assassins' Creed style game, this will do. It adds nothing to the franchise. Unless it's on closeout for under ten bucks, I'd say rent don't buy.

Deceptive practices

Anonymous December 21, 2025

I received the item after nineteen days due to the seller claiming the item was bound printed matter to save a few dollars. The postal service expected me to pay for the item after I already paid.
