Assassin's Creed Shadows - PlayStation 5 Game

Pros: The graphics are good. The different Seasons and weather effects are nice. The story is okay. The two main characters are both awesome in their own ways. Several other characters are interesting also. The game is big/ long. Cons: The open world can get frustrating to navigate if you're like me and enjoy leaving the beaten path. The two characters, both great on their own with their unique play-styles, can get annoying having to switch between them when you're in the mood to play a specific play-style (I personally would rather just play the assassin playstyle all the time.) The "seasons" mechanic is VERY distracting and chaotic (for example I had the season change on me twice during one cut-scene meaning the four minutes of story-time took six months of game-time. Also means it's taken me thirty years to go through the story, but none of the characters aged even a single year.) Over-all: Another great entry in the AC franchise. But definitely not my favorite. Also prefer the "Ghost of..." games over this one. But still, a great game worth playing. Especially if you've already played those other games!

Game is great, buying it from Walmart was not. Went on Black Friiday to store, but they did not have it for their sale price, it was full price, so I walked out to my car and ordered it from Walmart.com for the sale price. Super wierd way to do business, but whatever, great game.

I was bummed out at first because I could've sworn I ordered the "walmart special edition" which comes with a code for exclusive armor, but I received the regular edition instead. When i opened the case I saw they included a code for the expansion pass/dlc which costs $30 on it's own so I was not upset at all. Especially since I got the game half off during a sale.

Huge Assassin’s Creed fan… They have went ALL OUT with Shadows!!! This is also the first game that Walmart didn’t have a $5 better price than everyone else… I believe that’s only because it’s brand new… I won’t purchase games ANYWHERE else except out of the marked down price deals category on the PlayStation store… Buying the digital copy through the PS store is ALWAYS more expensive…

The price by far is better than all other websites I have checked and of course with Christmas around the corner saving any dollar amount is beneficial. The video game arrived the same time and not too late into the evening. I am very satisfied the game was in its original packaging and not damaged where the disc is sliding around inside of the boxed. Words can’t say enough, i am very thrilled

10/10 game!! There is not many games that interest me and keep my attention but iv sunk nearly 60 hours in this game and im loving it!

It was available at half the price of Amazon and was a gift that I didn’t know much about, but found it quickly on-line and it was available and I was able to pick-up at my favorite Wal-mart.

The kids loved it (age 42 and 44 lol)!

I ordered this copy of assassin’s creed shadows and it doesn’t play on my system and need to swap this copy or return it.

Assassins creed shadows feels like the past 3 assassins creed titles with a Japan finish. The game looks good in the day but if you have a Led tv it looks really bad at night and almost impossible to see unless you tweak your graphics settings. The open world exploration and attention to detail is where this game shines, the story is almost non existent and it’s advised to not even follow along as you’ll get nothing out of it. The voice acting for certain characters is really bad, especially the main character Naoe who sounds very bland, fake, dull and at times it was annoying to have to sit through her dialogue because it’s delivered so poorly. Stick to the exploration and if you’re a fan of Japanese culture that’s about all you’ll get out of this game. Combat feels weak and has no weight to it, can become very infuriating with how touchy some of the controls are and the game has weird bugs that take you out of the immersion. I would not recommend this game at full price, wait for a $20 price tag to be slapped on it before buying.
