I totally luv ❤️ this fruit cake ! it has a unique delicious taste and not overwhelming on being to sweet ! Perfect balance of ingredients and consistency of moistness and freshness worth the price , although pricey for 2lbs. I would recommend it to those fellow fruit cake lovers out there for sure !!!

The Cistercian monks of Missouri make a heavenly fruitcake. It was delivered before the promise date and in spite of being well packaged did have some damage to the reusable container. The cake was delicious and enjoyed to celebrate the New Year.

The fruitcake was moist and delicious. I buy this cake every year! It was shipped and received with no problems. We are enjoying it!

My ideal fruitcake (as made in the UK) is moist, dense and fragrant. This was lacking in all of these characteristics, although it wasn't the worst example I've tried here in the US.

I ordered the cake as a gift for my Mother who said the fruit cake was good, but there wasn't a cover for the tin and the tin bottom that it was in seemed too large for the cake. She wished that there was a cover to keep it fresh once she cut it. I am disappointed that who ever packed the box let it go out like that. I hope she received the 2 pound cake.

This item was notvwhaat i order. i havenother friitcake that look 100% better than that fruitcske. The price was ridiculously. Sorry thstbthe reason i wasnt satisfied w the cake ,%26 it didnt look good at all. wal mart needs to take it off its on line ordering.

I had this fruitcake possibly 2 or 3 yesterday ago. I even have the same tin. I wanted to like it, but I didn't. I have always been a fan of "Good Fruitcake". The small rectangular one's you find in the grocery store are terrible. The fruit isn't good and that's why no one with any taste buys them. Well, this fruitcake had small pieces of fruit like that. I understand moist, but not gummy. So, I definitely can't recommend it.
